Very nice quality, good looking , good fit, come completely assembled out of box is nice. Did shim the front shaft at the output shaft to get get rid of vibration. Had alittle wiggle in the front end and a dancing drive shaft. 2 thin shims problem solved. Give the output shaft a wiggle before yah attach drive shafts to feel for excessive play. Purchased 2 sets of these so far. They work great. Some minor wheel slop with steering axel on second set but fixed it with brass wheel weights and 2 o-rings.

The turn radius on these is insane. I had to dial back my transmitter so I wasn’t rubbing wheel on frame. They don’t bind, and installing of the shocks and links to go with it was a snap. They are solid with nice weight, and looks. For the money they meet or in some cases exceed some of the $100 plus options out there. ... show more

Although I would have personally preferred aluminum knuckles and stock length axles, these worked out okay for me...and it kind of grew on me. At first I didnt like the wide stance (length). With smaller wheels it looked a little off scale, so I stuck with the stock proline wheels on the 4runner. That made it somewhat fine. The axles are however really nice quality out the box. Heavy in the hands and precision built. Turning angle is CRAZY for my scale build and it turns smooth! Axles look very scale and gives it just enough bling to the truck. I did grease up the diff gears with my own but they are greased from factory. Comes with no servo mounting plate but you can basically mount any person of your choice to the axles, which is one of the reasons I went with these. If you are running stock electronics and no other upgrades other than these axles, the 030 can start to cogg up in certain situations due to the increased weight. Even with stock Proline wheels on the 4runner, you'll notice more cogging when you hit those high traction points. Have since gone brushless and no more issue. So far so good with my rig setup though...just really wish they had optional aluminum knuckles sets and not just the brass. The brass knuckles are fine, but its bulky and limits you on some wheels. I.E prolines stock beadlock wheels with the 3 screws behind the wheel won't fit, the screws will interfere. Treal wheels will fit along with rc4wds or you can add wider hex's. I had designed my own 3D Nylon knuckles to fit and no more wheel issues! Then the length makes the wheels rub agisnt the body/front bumper (even with the stock wheels on the 4runner) when youre turning. You have to either deal with it, go with a smaller wheel, or increase your ride height. I just chose to deal with it because i did not want to trim the body. Didnt really have a choice, these +4mm axles were the shortest length axles with the scale look AND double jointed shafts in the market. Great product, fast delivery! only CON I can think of is that it does not come with an installation manual, but I still rate it as 10 out of 10! I've used it on my Axial SCX24 4Runner edition.
