Great for small/medium size living room
Size: 18 inch Remote Control
Now entering the second winter having this and has been working amazingly. I love that I can control the height and speed of the flames. The heating element heats my 500 sq ft living room very well. Being able to control the temperature seems to have a good read on the temp of the whole room.

The fire is beautiful and the heater goes to 82 degrees!
Size: 23 inch Remote Control
All good quality, and fit and finish excellent! I installed it in our cabinet that originally had fireplace but of a different manufacturer. Only negative after using a week is when the heater portion used it is “a little noisy”, meaning if tv off then you can hear but if on even low volume you cannot. Fire, controls and remote excellent!

Puts out good heat and is simple to use.
Size: 23 inch Remote Control
Our old unit died after years of use. This one was attractive to us for several reasons: It is a good price for what you are getting. It was very close to the size of our old unit. I had to make some minor modifications to the wooden mantle to get this to fit, but that is to be expected. We bought this unit to heat the TV room only. It is not meant to heat a whole house, nor is it meant to run all day every day. It is perfect for a couple of hours to take the chill off. It has very realistic flames. I was most concerned about damage in transit due to the glass screen, but that was a non-issue due to good packaging. I would recommend this item to anyone looking for a supplemental heat source. As a general rule of caution, never ever leave these types of heater units running unattended. If you leave the room for any reason or go to bed, shut it off.

The remote control does not operate, heat turns on at 80° even though I set it to 62°.
Size: 18 inch Remote Control
The remote control does not operate and the heat turns on when it is 80° inside my house even though I set it to 62°. I called to get product support and they said it has not been registered as being delivered and they cannot help me until they get the notification that it has been delivered. It has been delivered to me I have plugged it in and it operates from the front panel. There's no operation from the remote control and the fireplace heats up my 80° apartment even though I set the temperature to 62°.
