I use a scooter when I go to Disneyland and this worked great with the rental scooter I used. It was a torrential downpour and it still kept my hands and the controls dry. I highly recommend this if you're needing a scooter rental in the rain.

My teenagers often refuse to wear a jacket or certain shoes when the weather calls for it because it will look weird. Well, this cover is a bit like that. It looks weird. It feels awkward. But sometimes it's just best to listen to good advice and do it anyway. This cover has worked well to keep the controls on my wife's scooter dry and functioning. Neither of us was too sure about it at first. But after the first use, we both agreed that it beat the alternative. The difficulty is how to design something that protects the scooter while allowing the rider to operate the controls at the same time. This cover manages to do that. It does take some getting used to. And occasionally, you may get that person who gives a sideways glance, like you have no idea what you are doing. But then they aren't the ones who risk having to replace an expensive unit because they didn't want to look a little awkward in the rain. We will take this over the repair bill.

The fit was awkward to drive with and I definitely didn’t use the sleeve insert to try. But it did keep my scooter controls completely dry during a three day rainstorm, hence the 3 star review. I used it flipped all the way around with the wrist/sleeve part tucked in.

I bought myself a scooter. My arthritis is getting really bad. I read that The scooter controls shouldn't get wet in the rain. So I bought this little bonnet to put over the handlebars if I'm ever out caught in the rain. There's a pocket on the back of my scooter and I stuck it in there just in case. Great quality I think is really smart thing to do.
