This mobile TV stand is ideal. A couple small things could be different so I'll note those below for other customers' information. But overall it's great. I'm ordering a second one for another room. My use: A gaming system on wheels. I can play in the main room but move it out of sight when we have company. I mounted a 43" TV and set my gaming console on the shelf. Assembly: Very easy. The instructions were detailed and clear, WAY above average compared with other instruction manuals I've seen. The screws were separated by size and labeled to correspond with the steps in the manual. One negative - each step required a different tool (two hex sizes, a phillips bit, and a wrench). The tools were included, and each instruction clearly identified which tool was needed. But it would have been simpler to just require one hex and the wrench. Stability: The stand appears strong and stable. My 43" TV is very lightweight and is on the lowest height setting, so I can't comment if it gets top-heavy in other settings. For me, it's very stable. Mobility: The stand is on four casters, each of which has a brake. It rolls effortlessly on my hardwood. The casters are low-end and wouldn't do well if I rolled it out to my gravel driveway, for example. It's very easy to engage a brake by accidentally bumping against a wall or toe. To disengage, I have to lean over and pull the lever by hand. It lays too flat against the wheel for my toe to pull it back up. Shelf: The small plastic shelf has metal supports under it. It adjusts up/down to any height you choose, or can be removed completely. I don't know it's weight limit, but it has no problem holding the gaming console's weight. However, the shelf is short enough (front to back) that the console hangs over the front by several inches. Also, the shelf is hard plastic and therefore slippery. For those reasons, i needed some double-sided picture-mounting strips to keep the console from sliding off. Cord storage: There are hooks on the back of the shelf for wrapping a cord. Inevitably, cords are going to show on a mobile unit like this. I used cable ties to secure a power strip to the stand behind the TV so most of the excess power cords and HDMI cord are hidden. It arrives in a small HEAVY box. It doesn't take long to see why it's such a heavy small box! They are struggling to save shipping costs by reducing this mobile TV stand to the smallest, most densely packed box possible. Woof! I nearly threw my back out when I tried to hoist this little piece of misery! Luckily I have a teenager still at home, so he got the pleasure! He also, for a bribe, put it together for me! As you can see in my pictures, it is pretty tall. Since eye level is supposed to be 1/3 the way down from the top of the screen, I'll be leaving one joint of pipe out of the stand and, with an adjustm ssssent, it will be perfect for my needs. Assembled, it is a rock. Solid. And steady on its 4 wheeled base. You can put up to an 88 pound monitor or TV on this stand. I wouldn't push it that far, but my monitor weighs in at under 10 pounds. I'm not stressing this stand out at all. I particularly like the laptop tray beneath the mounted TV as I plan to have a second monitor on the stand. The tray is also sturdy. Just right, in fact. They call it a storage shelf. I call it a laptop tray table. Whatever, it works, and it works quite well!

This rolling TV stand from YOMT is a really good value for what you're getting. First off this comes in a box much smaller that I had imagined. Kudos to the manufacturer for saving space in the shipping system. The box was only about 24" x 12" x 8". It could have fit in my jumbo mailbox if it weren't double boxed from Amazon. I really like how the parts are easily identifiable. The hardware comes in a row of bags with letters designating exactly what screw or bolt you need for the steps. The instruction manual is very easy to follow with proper English and detailed illustrations. They have included two hex head tools and a wrench. Do yourself a favor and get a real 12 mm wrench before you even start. The included wrench is very sharp and slips off frequently. This took me about an hour to put together, I used a combo of their tools and my 12 mm wrench, phillip's screwdriver and power drill. I'd give this a 3 out of 5 for difficulty in assembling. Note: you're going to end up with a huge amount of screws and plastic spacers leftover. Don't throw them away as you'll need them to install other TV's of various sizes. The one I have mounted is a simple 100 x 100 mm VESA 32" screen. This stand is rated for up to 70". I wouldn't feel comfortable with anything over 45"-50" but your results may vary. It's a bit wobbly even with this 32" TV that weights less than 10 pounds. You might be able to place a huge 70" TV on this but rolling it around would be difficult as the casters are a bit cheap feeling (the reason for 4 stars). You can adjust the shelf up and down to suit your needs. Keep the hex tools that come with the kit. I will most likely put all of the extra pieces in a baggie and attach them to the back of the mounted TV for safe keeping. I suspect this stand will be fine for 95% of us who need a rolling TV cart. I like the design and overall engineering. However there are too many joints that need screws allowing this to be wobbly because it's naturally top heavy.
