  • *UNICORN GUNDAM THEME INTENSIFIES*
The best the UC has to offer besides Double Zeta and Char's Counter Attack, and the Hathaway Movie Trilogy.

  • The sequel you never knew you wanted.
I ignored Unicorn of a long, long time. I thought the story of Char, Amuro, and the Newtypes wrapped up as well as it could have in Char's Counter Attack. I was wrong. Unicorn gathers every lose end in the Universal Century, going all the way to some cryptic remarks in the original Gundam series, and ties them all together is this short, great series. The voice acting in the dub is excellent, as Gundam series usually are. The story does a lot to redeem ZZ. Mineva, in particular, steals the show. ... show more

  • It's top class animation and sound make for an amazing experience. I have waited a long time to ...
M.S. Gundam Unicorn is the culmination of all U.C. timeline stories that have come before it since gundam first graced out souls in 1979. The blue-ray execution of this 7 episode (450 total minutes) series is a must own collection for all gundam enthusiasts! It's top class animation and sound make for an amazing experience. I have waited a long time to get the entire series inone collection since the single blue-rays cost more than this complete collection. Well worth the money and a must see for all. ... show more

  • The lion And the Unicorn
One of my favorite recent additions to the main Universal Century Timeline! The story is a little heavy for those who watch Non UC most of the time, and has a climax almost Echoing CCA and precluding MSGNT!If you want to see Narrative,i would advise you to watch at least this OVA series before you do. Over the top characters and awesome mobile suit designs are seen through out this OVA. I Really recommend this to anyone into gundam. ... show more

  • As Advertised
I'm not quite sure how to rate something like this. This show is absolutely magnificent, no minor complaints that haven't been heard before, and the price compared to other Gundam Blu-rays is great as well. Minus that the audio and subtitles are defaulted for Japanese dub (which I'm sure the weaboos would complain about if it was the other way), as well as the Audio/Subtitle tracks' languages are flipped Eng>Jap Jap>Eng (at least on the first disk, I haven't checked the others yet) and I'm noticing a lighter 1 pixel rim on the video, the Bluray itself is fine enough. The only downsides come from the original content itself and my expectations. The image is blatantly something like 600p scaled up to 1080p, I had hoped that was just a problem with the versions I've seen online, but that;s definitely not the case. I also had a dumb hope that it would be updated with the improved footage used in RE:0096, since that has only been released online in 720p with a watermark and on DVD, but that also isn't in this. That would have been an above-and-beyond if they had though. I'm no audio professional so I can't really tell you what I think of the sound, seems fine. Also unrelated, but the case had a chip and one of the discs was knocked loose. ... show more

  • A fitting conclusion to the Universal Century
As a longtime fan of Gundam (particularly the Universal Century series and OVAs), I found Unicorn to be a very satisfying experience. The story is solid, the characters are well rounded, and the quality of the Blu Rays are spectacular. Longtime Gundam fans will recognize a lot of familiar faces and a lot of nods to the previous TV series. Overall, this title is very engrossing and entertaining. I would highly recommend it to everyone, whether you're a UC Gundam fan or not. ... show more
