This camera is decent for the price point depending on what you want to use it for. I purchased 2 and have to return 1 because the sd card slot wont read it has one in it. Pluses: Day and Night vision is great. Wide angle Uses an app on your phone Can view on phone from anywhere Long camera plug in cord Easy to set up Multiple accounts can be set up Neutral: A few second delay Decently priced Green light on camera is super bright. Could be a plus if you want to use it also as light in a room at night but can also be completely shut off as well. - if you're setting an alarm for your child moving around, make sure sound is off because it will sound the alarm on the camera not your phone. If you're using it as security having a loud annoying alarm going off due to movements might be a good deterrent. It sends your phone a notification either way. Negative: -Sound from camera to phone is very poor. It's still very quiet even when media volume is all the way up. - it comes with a magnetic mount for the camera so you can attach it to the wall or ceiling. However the camera itself only has 4 little magnetic points on the bottom of the camera and weight of the camera itself and/or the cord is too heavy for it to stay connected via the 4 little points on the plate. Negative as a baby monitor: -The app has to be opened on your phone/tablet to see your child. If it is closed you have to go back in and click on the room and it comes back up. -It automatically has the mute button on Negative as a security camera: - if you choose to record via the sd card (sold separately) the app has to be open on your phone. If you set it to record then close out of the app it stops recording. You may as well watch it live.

If being able to see and/or hear your baby all night is an important feature for you, DO NOT BUY! The app crashes after a couple hours EVERY TIME! Thankfully, we use this for our toddler and not an infant, but I would never buy this again. She has woken up sick, throwing up, coughing, crying, etc… and the only reason I know is because I heard her through the wall. The app had crashed and there was no video or sound coming from the baby monitor to our devices. This device has NEVER made it through the night. I wake up three times a night and have to relaunch the app. It is a total waste.

This is the second time I've used a MOBI camera. Both times I've had difficulty getting them set up and connected to wifi. They are just extremely finicky and it can take a lot of attempts to get it to scan the QR code properly. I was not even able to get this camera set up, so I gave up and used a different camera. For the price, they're decent if you can get them working. The app lacks some of the notification options as other cameras, and the picture quality/latency isn't as great as more expensive ones, but the price is hard to beat. Pros: uses micro-USB plug cheap theoretically easy to set up Cons: has difficulty connecting only works on 2.4ghz wifi lacks some notification options

It’s pretty good. I was going between a 3 and 4 star review and decided to give it 4 because when it works, it does everything we need it to. Picture quality is pretty good. I like that you can listen to the baby’s end and also talk through it. My only problem is that since we’ve gotten it, we’ve had some issues with it staying connected. The first day we had it, we set it up which was relatively easy, and it was working well. The day after that, we couldn’t get it to come on at all. After several emails back and forth with customer service, they told me pretty much just what the manual said to hook the camera up which obviously we had already read and gone through. After going back and forth with them via email all day, my husband called and we were immediately informed that the servers had been down that day. That would have been something I would think they should have told me over email so I didn’t have to waste half a day messing with it and trying to re-pair it. And it’s done that a couple times since we’ve gotten it. Hopefully we don’t have any more issues because otherwise it’s a very good little camera.

It works but the viewer software is too sensitive to WIFI fluctuations. Many times during the day you have to refresh the image because the viewer software will get disconnected due to WIFI fluctuations. I have a Gigabit internet connection at home with one main WIFI modem and 3 WIFI repeater boxes around the house. My home has only one floor level (no second stories). It doesn’t get more optimal than that in terms of speed of the network and strength of the signal. One of the cameras is trying to connect to a foreign IP address but my home firewall has detected it as a security issue and sitting it down a couple of times. So in summary: if you don’t have a strong network security firewall in place and a very high speed WIFI, I don’t recommend them for you.
