First off, this thing is super small. Like the size of a 6 pack of sodas, so I was highly skeptical that it wasn't a toy. I'm used to using a wire welder, so I wanted to try stick welding this was perfect. My first time using one, very simple to setup. The instructions were a little unclear to me because it is labeled wrong where the positive and negative go, but the image is correct. And I believe you can weld either way but it gives different results. Maybe ask a pro before doing so though just to be safe. Anyways, I set it up and tried it out on a scrap piece of metal. I tried filling 3 holes and it seems like it will work great after I learn it a little better. Welder came in 2 boxes and was packed really well. No damage at all. I'm going to do some more testing and will update but so far this thing is amazing for the price. I highly recommend this little welder.

I have nothing to compare this to as I am completely new to welding. I haven’t tried this out a whole lot yet as I’m still learning but it seems to be a good machine. I want to be able to fix a couple of outdoor recliners that broke I think after I learn some more and keep practicing I will be able to do just that. I like that it’s small so I can use it wherever I need instead of taking what I need to it.

It's a 120v inverter welder, and it comes with rods that may or may not be 6011s - they're not labeled. It's not great, it's not terrible. It's a hobby welder. This isn't the kind of thing you'd wanna use to make money. For occasional use? It's fine.

I ordered this welder for some upcoming summer projects. The build quality looks good. The price is decent. The small size makes it portable. The welder looks fairly easy to use. It comes with a few supplies. I will buy a welding helmet before trying this welder. The handle is convenient. The display works and is bright.

Not bad for hobby welding, light work. Mid quality construction quality, really iffy face sheild included, for the money I really have no complaints. I feel like I do have to repeat for anyone unfamiliar with welding, this is for LIGHT AND OCCASIONAL WORK. The product description doesn't say that, but it's very apparent. With that in mind, it's a good value.

I've always wanted to learn how to weld and I learn best "hands on". This stick welder is a great option to teach myself the basics to weld as a beginner without breaking the bank or committing to a course. It gives me the option to do minor welding when needed.
