Pretty darn good. Got it on sale during a Black Friday thing. It’s comfy, the cover is soft. I like that the cover is removable, making for easy washing. For kids, a disposable waterproof pad(like the ones used for potty training dogs) could easily be slipped inside. Lots of pics in my review, here are thoughts: Came rolled up and compressed. Immediately began expanding upon opening, a good sign. I removed the foam to help the process go faster, so that the edges and corners weren’t slowed by the cover. The cover was easy to put back on, but is not loose or baggy at all. The foam inside has two layers. A higher density white foam on the bottom and a softer blue foam on the top. All in all, quite comfortable to lay on. The length and width are spot on to the advertised measurements. Part of my 4-star rating came from the thickness. This is advertised as a 4” thick pad, and it only is 3.5”. If you’re wondering if half an inch really would make much more of a difference, talk to any man you know ;-). Not enough to send it back, but really not accurate. The other reason for the 4-star is that it lacks any Velcro straps to hold it closed when folded. These would make it easier to store and carry. It didn’t advertise this, but they’re on all other tri-folds I’ve used and would make handling easier. All in all a very good pad. 4 stars, but the two things I mentioned are minor to most people. This item works well for my purposes which was to alleviate pressure on my hips when in the playpen with my grand baby. However, it isn't really 4 inches thick. I don't know if they accidentally used a thinner memory foam or what. I suppose that could be possible as the cover seems a little loose. A!so, the zippers seem a little delicate to the point that, if I ever need to remove the cover for cleaning, I will have to be extremely careful or the zipper is bound to break. Also, no washing machine for this cover as there was a warning on the included paperwork to spot clean only. This means I will have to buy something to help protect the mattress. Not a huge deal if you don't intend to fold it back up after each use but it kind of defeats the pint of a tenfold mattress. ... show more

I knew I had an overflow of guests coming.. decided against ordering inflatable mattresses because they can be very unreliable and a nuisance if you're inflating and deflating regularly....eventually they get a leak or the pump goes bad, etc. So out of desperation I ordered 2 of these mats and crossed my fingers... the adults were as comfortable on them as the teenager... they are like sleeping on a good quality mattress. The mats were wayyyyy more comfortable than my futon too!! Today after my company left, I laid down on one and fell asleep instantly for 2 hours.. woke up refreshed and ready to do my after company cleaning of my 3 story house. AWESOME! ... show more

These are a great replacement to an air mattress. Would have given 5 stars but the cases they came in are so fragile. The seems break right open when trying to store them. We have had them about a week. The mattress itself is great!

It's okay for the price. I ordered personal size but it is narrow for an adult. the foam is not as firm. but it is a well finished product that includes its cover to store it.
