I've bought many inflatable mattresses with varying degrees of luck. Most leak air and are a disappointment (and you only find out when you NEED to use it!). And, inflatable air mattresses are a nightmare to return. So, when my 10 year old grandson was planning a 2 week trip in our motorhome, I started researching solutions for his sleeping arrangement since I only have one bed and theater seating in our coach. I came across various memory foam mattresses and I was a little skeptical, but figured I'd give this mattress a try. It arrived quickly. When I unboxed it, it was somewhat flat, but the foam "aired up" within a day or two. The size was perfect for our coach and easily accommodated our grandson. It would also easily work for an adult. My grandson loved this "bed". He stated it was more comfortable than his bed at home. I snuggled with him a few times and have to agree...the mattress is very comfortable. It seems to be of good quality and is durable. It comes with its own cover to use when not in use. The protective cover was easy to put on the mattress once it is folded. THIS IS NOT AS ADVERTISED BUYER BEWARE!!! I will have to buy a 2nd one because this is not as advertised. It's not 4". It's about 2.5" I was expecting it to be thicker. Much thicker The person who took a picture with their finger as reference guide is the best description of this product. I should of believed the negative reviews. I bought this for an extra guest who will be staying for a week. Since space is limited in this one-bedroom unit, I had to find something that can be put away or minimized when the guest is gone. I’m pretty happy with this purchase as it arrived quickly and packaged well. I was quite nervous about the quality since some of the reviews mentioned mattress not expanding to 4 inches. Thankfully in just 24 hours it expanded to nearly 4 inches and there were no smell. I let it expand for one more day and it’s perfect and fold up nicely just as described! Of course, this is a 4-inch mattress so don’t expect it to be super comfy. For reference I’m around 135 lbs and this feels like a medium to soft mattress. (Twin size) ... show more
