I am a HOT sleeper! My previous mattress was a Purple mattress and it served us well, but when we moved across country our movers tore the tag off our purple mattress which made it null and void of the warranty. Plus they sat it in water for a month, AND they folded it up, which you're not supposed to do. I've had 3 major surgeries and has had to spend a lot of time recuperating in bed so I do feel that I have become somewhat of a mattress connoisseur in trying out different types of mattresses and that was mostly because I had to be on my back as I recouped, and the main problem I found with the different mattresses was that they did not offer support to my lower back and if I couldn't raise my legs up to let the mattress fill in my lower back it just wasn't going to work for me so that's how I judged this mattress and it tick the box for me. I've been looking for a new and different mattress and found this sexy beast 😏 but that's just the looks of it. We've slept on our EGOHOME mattress for 3 nights now, both my husband and myself are side-sleepers and after the first nights sleep I did feel a little tingling in my arms the next day but my husband didn't, and since then I haven't felt the tingling so it could've been that that was from my old mattress. I slept like a baby so far. From my understanding we have one month to return this mattress and I hope the comfort we're feeling now doesn't disappear after this months up, finger crossed! I did not smell any chemical smells emitting from this mattress and also we got it delivered around 1PM so there was plenty of time for this mattress to fill out by bedtime. The other thing I really like about my EGOHOME mattress was how light it was to move around and that I was able to make the bed without my husband's help! Our Purple weighed close to 400 pounds vs. 97 pounds, and that excites me more. I hope anyone who is thinking of buying a mattress will consider buying this one, you'll not be disappointed! Oh and this mattress was so reasonable in price and Affirm will help you get this mattress home with small and affordable payments. This all comes from someone who spends a lot of time in bed. Update Nove 23, 2025 I received my 14 inch queen mattress Friday afternoon, 11/21/2205, and unpacked it. Then I laid it on the living room floor to let it expand for 48 hours. It is shipped in a box and it is rolled up in a vaccuum sealed bag. Many of the people who reviewed it only gave it 12 hours, but the instructions do say 12 to 48 hours. I am thinking that the larger the mattress the more time you should give it to expand. I just got it installed onto my old box spring and laid down on it for the first time. My impression was it is both soft and firm. You sink it to it a little and then you reach a firm layer where you stop. It felt super comfortable, just great. My wife laid down beside me and I could not feel movement on her side at all. It's very solid and stable. One notable change was that my old mattress was only 6 inches thick and this one is 14. Many of my old fitted sheets do not fit on this mattress. I will be sure to get deep fitted sheets right away. I have been told by my PT that the most common source of back pain is an old mattress, and a chirpractor told me the same thing. THis mattress was highly rated and customer reviews are great, so I am hoping to eliminate back and shoulder pain affecting my neck, scapula, and shoulder. I will provide updates to let others know how if it has helped me.
