I bought this for my daughter who does diamond dots everyday. She will use this light up board at night when I am watching a good movie on TV at night so we can be together. It is so nice. It has a 3 way light with dim, medium, and bright. And turn on and off. It is electric. I bought the largest size and glad I did because all of her diamond dots fit it. Love this!

Works well and is easy to use. My only negative is that the plug is too short to go into the wall where I usually sit to craft and this unit does not work unless plugged in. I hate having to use an extension cord.

I had to replace an A2 board I bought from another place that took way too long to get via mail. My husband, in his unfortunate ability to forget, once in a while, to be aware of his surroundings, pulled the plug out of and bent it so that it now longer lit up, hence the replacement. Okay, the new board came overnight (yay!) and is perfect for my diamond painting needs. Lighting is sufficient (but can always be brighter at my age) and the power button is convenient. USB plug in but can use an adapter OR buy one of those extension cords that have the usb plugs included. One tip, I would buy the plastic protection covers to put over the power button as I was good at turning the light off during certain maneuvers.

I have purchased many different diamond painting kits since 2022, but unfortunately, I haven't had the time to ever actually start one till a few weeks ago. I noticed pretty quick that I really couldn't do anything with it during the evening and nighttime hours because it wasn't bright enough for me to see everything - even with my glasses on. I had seen these on here before, so I thought I would try one out. It arrived in a thin cardboard box that had the light in it, as well as a power cord, a sheet of instructions, and they even give you 4 little binder clips to keep whatever you're working on secured. I tho that was a nice gesture! Now, I don't know if I just didn't read everything thoroughly enough or what, but I was honestly under the impression that when I first got it, I could charge it up, and then use it wirelessly. But apparently I misunderstood things because that is not the case. When using this, it has to be kept plugged in for the light to work. However, that being said, I really don't mind that at all. It's not even close to being an inconvenience or anything. I am r very happy with this!! It has 3 settings for the light. In the pictures I provided, in one the light is on the lowest setting and the other it's on the highest setting. The board itself is very thin, but also very strong and durable. Plus, it's not even a quarter of an inch thick!! And I especially like the touch button for the light. You really just barely have a touch it! Now that I have this, I've been trying to get my first diamond painting done and having a good lot of fun while doing so! And there are so many different things to that this could be used for too! Just imagine all the different projects you could do, knowing that you have ample light to do it, regardless of where you are! And it's lightweight enough for anyone of any age to use it too. This is literally a fantastic product and I'm so happy that I got it - not to mention the great deal you get!! I cannot recommend this enough!!

I'm from a generation where words mean things. And in recent years, we've had to learn how to interpret poorly translated foreign language instructions and descriptions. This is one of those products where you will have to level up your skills. On this product CHARGING PORT does not mean CHARGING PORT. It means POWER PORT. Although it does say it in the description, it is lost among a bunch of other poorly written English. This product does not charge anything. It MUST be plugged in to be used. Which may be a major consideration when you prefer to have a PORTABLE device to write/draw on, without a cable in the way. If you are looking at this for portability - realize that you will NEED/REQUIRE to carry a battery bank and cable with you to use it. Otherwise it is small, lightweight and very portable. Even when using tiny binder clips to hold the papers in place, the device will lay flat and provide and comfortable writing experience. If you can live with the annoyance of a cable, this appears to be a great deal for a backlit writing board.
