The original battery in my ION Explorer Outback 2 speaker would no longer hold a charge, so I needed a replacement. I looked around at a bunch of different replacement batteries and purchased this Mighty Max battery for two reasons. One, another reviewer said they bought this battery for their ION Explorer Outback 2 speaker and it was a good fit. I can concur, that yes, this battery is a perfect replacement for the original in the ION Explorer Outback 2 speaker! Second, the Mighty Max battery had the best price, which was an added plus. The battery came quickly and it was 100 percent fully charged when I received it. This made it quick and easy to hook up and see if it worked, which it did. Overall, this was a great purchase to keep out speaker going outside again! I don't know how long this battery will last compared to the original, but hopefully it lasts a few years. My Verizon FiOS power supply starting "beeping", displaying a "replace battery light"! My search for a replacement battery found this one. The pros: + Reasonably priced at $19.99 with free Amazon Prime next day delivery. + Pretty good customer product reviews. + The battery came charged, read 12.73V. + The battery fit into the Verizon FiOS power supply box. The cons: - The battery is NOT returnable! - This battery has F1 terminals, I needed F2. The larger F2 connector does push onto the battery F1 terminals, but the fitment feels loose & I'm not comfortable using this battery, so I'll be sourcing the correct F2 terminal battery. Closing remarks: • My fault for buying this battery with the wrong F1, smaller terminals. • They do make F2 to F1 adapters, but in my application, that was not an option... not enough room! • My fault for not reading that this battery could NOT be returned, so I'm out $20... ... show more
