This thing is amazing 🤩
Style: Gray
Had no idea how good this thing is. Feels like it should be over 150$. Really good library of real games for all systems. All loaded in. Can even change the system themes. So cool. Kids want me to buy more.

Not quite what I was hoping for
Style: Gray
Not a huge fan of this coming in a different box. Makes me feel like it's used. It should come in the miyoo box.

So much fun
This is the gameboy that you wish you could have had as a kid. It is powerful enough to emulate any game system up to ps1, and brings back so many good memories just by the form factor alone. The screen is great on this, bright and vivid, even at 3.5in those classic games look great! If you have bigger hands this can be kind of hard to hold while playing, but for short periods there's no issue. Upon receiving i replaced the SD card with a larger name brand class 10, and installed an updated onion os. Once all the roms were transferred i fired it up and started playing immediately with no issues. The battery life is very good for the device size, and charges usb C. The speakers and included headphones are bad, but for 8 bit audio thats fine!

Popular for a reason
If you have researched or looked into retro handheld gaming systems, it's almost impossible to have not heard of this. This is a very popular handheld for a reason. Out of the box, everything works. Yes, there is a very popular custom firmware available for this unit, but it works just fine from my perspective without it. The retro gray on this looks nice, and it has a nice texture to it that offers just the right amount of grip to keep it in your hands. This is a very pocketable unit. It is just a tad smaller than the rg35xx if you're familiar with that. All of the system menus are straightforward and easy to learn. The screen looks nice and vibrant. The sound is good considering there is only one speaker. This plays ps1 and below like a charm. This particular unit has 5 different need for speed games in the ps1 category, and they all play great. The battery life is good and should last you through the day. This comes with a really nice carrying case. It's actually one of the nicest cases I've come across for this style of game. It also includes a set of headphones and a usb card reader. All you will need is a power block to charge it. I recommend a 5v 1amp charger they are your safest bet for all handheld gaming systems. The buttons all work well with this, although for me, the d-pad is just a little soft, but you may like that. The shoulder buttons are excellent, and do not rattle at all. This particular unit I have may have the best shoulder buttons of all the handheld games I own. If you're looking to play ps1 and below and want a very pocketible unit that is well made, then this is probably the right choice for you. An excellent value for what you get.

Thought it might be a fake, but it's the real deal.
I was a little surprised when I opened the Amazon shipping box to find an inner box that was extremely generic looking. I was like... uh-oh. But inside was a pretty nice carry case filled with goodies. The actual handheld appears to be an authentic Miyoo Mini Plus, and it functions flawlessly. I already own another Miyoo Mini Plus that I've had for a while now, so I know how much goes into setting these up to get them working smoothly and as you desire. I tested this one just by using it out of the box, without changing anything. It's not how I would keep it, but as it is.... it is perfectly functional, and it comes with tons of games... actually way too many. It is much better practice to remove all of the garbage games and just install a small collection that you will ACTUALLY play. While this device, as is, could be used by a child... there are countless ways in which they can "mess things up" if they go into the wrong menus or whatever. I would not give this to a kid unless you constantly want to be fixing things for them. It would be better to learn about the machine via Youtube and set it up with a kid-friendly interface that hides the stuff that can mis-configure the system. Bottom line is that the Miyoo Mini Plus is authentic and an AMAZING machine for the price. It's like getting 20 video game systems, and every arcade that ever existed, in one.

Pretty Cool
Style: Gray
Feel of it is pretty good. Better than expected. The preloaded game selection is crazy. Although I have found that a number of games do not work. If this happens to you, check Reddit. There are a ton of threads about these things. I picked this up to use while flying, so it’s perfect. I’d recommend it.

Thousands of games
Literally thousands of games... but... no Super Mario Bros? I've searched all the different systems and I haven't been able to find any of the Mario Bros games, which are the most classic of all classics! Maybe I'm just missing it, if anyone else has found it, please let me know! So many other games though, and it fits great in your hands, just like the old game boys. Love it, best one I have found so far, but just feel like it's missing a few of the most popular games out there. No Zelda either, that I could find.

perfect size for gaming on the go
This little thing is a pocket full of nostalgia. it feels like the version of the gameboy we all wish we had as kids. it plays nearly everything retro, feels super responsive with an awesome D-Pad and the perfect clicky face buttons, and a few extras that make it a ready to go kit. The case is really well made and feels solid, I like the details of the retro controller zipper pulls as well. 10/10.
