We recently stayed in a hotel that provided nespresso in the room rather than just standard coffee. My husband turned into an espresso monster and after coming home all he wanted was an espresso machine. I didn’t want to go expensive because I wasn’t sure if it was just a passing phase or if he was going to stick to this new passion. This machine is a perfect balance between quality and price. I remember a lot of reviews stating how loud it was, and honestly, it really isn’t that bad. Maybe if you live in a studio or small apartment without separation between rooms the noise would be worse, but I’ve never noticed it in the mornings and hardly during the evenings. When it comes to the flavor production of the unit, we aren’t in tune enough with espresso and what makes it good versus bad to judge the unit on that. Overall the espresso comes out tasting great and strong. My husband’s only critiques are that the empty pod reservoir is small and needs to be dumped frequently and that there needs to be a low water indicator on the unit so a pod doesn’t get wasted when there isn’t enough and he forgets to check. ... show more

I had a Nesspresso machine for about 15 years. It finally quit and I bought this to replace it. I'm pleased with it overall. My only disappointment was the amount of creama. I was used to more. It's easy to use and clean.

I've been using this machine for over a month now. It's very simple, intuitive, easy to run and clean, and it's quick. Highly recommended for those who like expresso and/or cappuccino that can be made easily and requires almost no cleanup, except washing the empty cup.

This espresso machine is absolutely fantastic. Does what is supposed to do, it’s small and cute and the price is unbeatable. Have many coffee makers at home and this is my absolutely favorite. Excellent for travel if you can’t live without your espresso coffee. I buy different brands of espresso pods and never had a problem. Just bought another one to gift a friend. The only complaint would be they sent me the wrong color but it’s good. Would definitely recommend for espresso lovers;) ... show more

Looks good and works. It will pay for itself at work quickly because I won’t run to the coffee shop for my daily 3pm Americano. I have the original brand at my home and it makes a frothier espresso with the same pods. I couldn’t make myself buy a second “original” brand for all my coworkers to thrash, as much as I love them. :) I buy the Nespresso pods to brew and the flavor tastes the same as at home: like a jolt of energy mixed with dirt and sticks and filled with shame that I can’t get through the day without it. ... show more

I bought a new machine and paid for it. When it arrived I noticed it was in a plastic bag and had coffee stains already on it. That’s a little frustrating as I paid the extra to have a brand new one.
