Had my doubts about this one when I first opened it, but it's actually a versatile little system with little or no room for error. It comes completely disassembled, with 50 ft of solid tubing and multiple little bags full of various components. What seemed daunting at first is actually indicative of the completely customizable nature of this little system. A quick look at the instructions and I understood how all the parts fit together, as well as the range of scenarios this kit could tackle. It has sprayers for top leaf coverage and drippers for ground coverage, with little fitted stakes to hold everything in the exact layout you choose for your particular application. A great aspect of the design is that each sprayer or dripper can be individually turned off, so for example, you can still water without worrying about rinsing off pesticides. It comes with a little roll of plumber's tape, but I don't know why. The hose connection ends have a good rubber seal, of course, and each individual fitting goes in snug and stays in place with a watertight seal that is created almost like sharkbite fittings, if you're familiar with that. The more the tube tries to pull out--under pressure or from being pulled by something--the tighter the fitting grips it. It's like one of those finger traps. Anyway, it doesn't leak. And if you want to take it apart, you just push the retainer into the fitting and then you can pull the tube right back out without damaging it. You can cut each segment of tube to length to go from area to area and only water where and how you want; from one raised planter over to another without sprayer water in between them, for example. It's neat and comes with everything you need for the complete project. My only concern with it is that the tubing itself isn't all that pliable. That may be useful in maintaining curves in the pattern and staying in the shape you bend it, but I am fairly certain that after one or two seasons in the Florida sun, this tube will dry out and crack to pieces. Didn't dock it a star, though because I won't really know for a while. It's definitely a really cool solution to automating small scale irrigation with a lot of possibilities and configurations. Will update if it doesn't hold up.
