Item is exactly as pictured and described. It feels soft and the velvet texture gives the appearance of "two-tone" depending on which way the cushion is situated to reflect the light. It was a bit difficult stuffing my pillows I to them and zipping the cover closed because I use bigger pillows, but I managed without tearing or ripping anything, nor was I afraid I would since the construction appears to be durable. I’m a seasonal decorator and ordered the sage green and forest green pillow cases for Spring. They arrived the day after I became MISERABLY sick with COVID. Like “couldn’t-leave-the-couch-for-two-weeks” sick. These pillow cases were not only beautiful - offering me some small joy while sick - they were incredibly COMFORTABLE. Like holy cow.
