I have a 2015 Chevy Cruz. At 70k, the water pump gave out. I replaced the factory thermostat with that repair with an aftermarket thermostat in a PVC housing. It cost me $80 at Autozone (OEM was $170). 25k miles later, and I had trouble again with the cooling system. When I took everything apart, I discovered that it was the thermostat that failed. The PVC housing became brittle, and cracked. Not wanting to make the same mistake twice, I found this thermostat with an aluminum housing for much less. It appears well made, and fit perfectly. Seal seats nicely. Better than the cheap plastic ones. Will have to see how it holds up long term, but this is the second one I’ve thrown on this car, first one was plastic.

Excelente producto, lo recomiendo... estuve usando de plástico depues de la pieza original y cada 2 meses estaba cambiando la pieza, hasta que compre este producto y al fin estoy descansando... es de metal y es perfecto... los de plástico siempre se destemplaban por la gran temperatura.
