Went right in once I got the gasket back in the groove. worked properly and turned off the P0599 thermostat heater code on a 2014 cruze 1.4l. Be careful with the gasket and be sure it stays in the groove or you will be taking it all the way back off to get it back in there

This is a great replacement, if you need to replace the thermostat housing on your Chevy Cruze, it's about the third of The price from a plastic one from the part store. And works just as well. I've had this on my car for a month now and has have no problems.

The oem part on my vehicle was made of plastic so it decayed and fell apart like so many others I read about online. This one is heavy duty and should last a very long time.

So far haven't had a dud from this brand, and I would hope they would honor their warranty but haven't had any issues and the thermostat definitely works so far.

Installed on a 2016 Chevy Sonic LTZ 1.4L Turbo . Fits just like the plastic factory one. I went with aluminum because the plastic ones can get brittle and crack and its really hard to find the leak. This one was easy to replace and seems to be well made. This is a complete assembly too, so no other parts needed. I would recommend also getting long reach Hose Clamp Pliers, as getting the clamp off and back on without one is a real PITA. I replaced mine after pressurizing the coolant system and spraying soapy water to find the leak. ... show more

Leaks and causes hundreds in extra mechanical bills to have to fix. Very cheaply made and support is no help. Get Dorman or OEM... NOT cheap China stuff.
