  • Beautiful Sheets!
Ok, I'm not new to Bamboo sheets. Due to allergies, all I can use. I needed to replace 2 sets. The oldest being 5 years old. Best set I ever purchased. Unfortunately, no longer make by manufacturer. I was leery about this purchase... After reading some reviews. I honestly think that some people disregard the care instructions of bamboo. It is extremely strong, but delicate. You can't wash the way you wash cotton. Bamboo sheets need to be washed in warm water the first time to shrink to fit of bed. This also tightens fibers and seams. Also releases loose fibers. After first wash, they should be washed in cold. This ensures that the sheets have a long life. They will be clean. Bamboo is naturally anti-fungal and anti-bacterial. As for drying... You can dry outside. If you dry in dryer, cool or warm gentle dry. Never hot, this destroys bamboo fibers. Bamboo sheets can sometimes collect body oils. Which can stain. This isn't permanent. Pre -wash sheets in about 1/4 cup of Dawn dish liquid. Voila, back to being pretty. This set washed like it was supposed to. Very nice and soft. Only time will show longevity. PS. Do not wash sheets with anything other than the sheets. Washing with other fabrics can cause pilling! ... show more

  • Different feeling that the first sheets we got at COSTCO
I was so happy to find these online but the "formula" seemed to have changed. The sheets are beyond soft which is nice of course, but they are SO slippery they slide from under the comforters and we wake with the sheets on the floor sometimes! What I loved most from our first Bedvoyage sheets that were purchased from COSTCO 3 years ago was the heft and weight that kept them stationary and yet they were still so soft. Hope to find that combo again someday! Hope this was helpful to someone! ... show more

  • My favorite sheets
Because this is my first set of bamboo sheets, I read the laundering instructions carefully, and made sure I was using one of the detergents the manufacturer recommends. My husband was a little worried when he took them out of the washer for the first time, because they felt extremely stiff. I assured him that the instructions said they would be stiff when wet, but soft once they were dry. Because they don't use formaldehyde to coat the sheets, they do wrinkle a lot, but I found that shaking the sheets out before putting them in the dryer, and removing them immediately when they're dry helps. The sheets are so soft and lightweight when I crawl into bed! They're a little pricey, but I absolutely love them, and have ordered a second set. ... show more

  • Normal Use Causes Darkening on White
Size: King Color: White
I've had my Bed Voyage King White sheet set almost two years now. It's still cool, silky and strong, but no matter what I try, it's not white anymore. In fact, it went from white to grey since the first couple weeks of use and has never been white since. Normal body oils seem to significantly darken this material and no amount of OxiClean or Oxgen Bleach has returned them to white. There is an extreme difference between the sides of the fitted sheet which are still white and the top which is now grey, even when freshly washed. If I could find a cleaning solution that works, I'd give them 5 stars but in their darkened stained state, I'd give them 2-3. ... show more

  • I thought I was crazy to buy such expensive sheets but it was so worth it!
Size: Queen Color: White
I normally buy a comforter set that includes sheets. The sheets always end up being cheap and hot at night. So I did some research, I found a lot of reviews and blogs that stated bamboo sheets are the best sheets for many reasons plus they keep you cool while sleeping. I purchased the white queen set. I washed them as instructed before use and put them on my bed. They honestly fit how the description states, the fitted sheet is a little longer so it helps stay on the bed and the material is amazing and soft to touch. After the first night, I can say this expensive sheet purchase was worth every penny. Yes it’s an investment but it’s worth it when you get great sleep. ... show more

  • These are dreamy beyond imagination!
What can you say about SHEETS, really? You either like them or you don't. I mean, you sleep on the things. Yayyy. These sheets will change all that. Wash them out of the package... as other reviewers have noted, they will feel like canvas coming out of the washer. DON'T USE BLEACH, SOFTENER OR DRYER SHEETS. Really - don't! When these things come out of the dryer (on low setting), they will feel like... hmm. Silk? Melted butter? They have a feel that really has to be experienced to be believed. Bamboo. We got what we think is the ultimate bed (Tempur-pedic Choice Supreme with Premiere Ergo base) and put the bamboo sheets on. HOLY SMOKES. I want to live in this bed. Yes, they're expensive. Yep, you likely got sticker shock when you looked at the price. But you know what? I cannot recommend these sheets highly enough. We've have satin sheets, flannel sheets, and Egyptian cotton up to 800 thread count. NOTHING comes close to Bamboo. Trust me. I never thought that sheets could have such an impact on sleep... but I can't imagine going back to anything else at this point. ... show more

  • Wonderful, but not warm
We bought these sheets for many reasons and on all of the reasons it fit the bill perfectly except one. It says it's a great all year sheet and adjusts to thermal temperatures to keep you perfect. I would beg to differ in that point. The sheets are cold. We keep our house at 72 degrees and the sheets are still cold. I radiate a ton of heat so I warm up nicely, but my husband does not radiate heat like I do (he's normal) and he wakes up cold in the night. The sheets are wonderful and the fitted and flat sheet is huge (in a good way) which I love. I just wish the company sold warm sheets. If they did, I would totally buya pair ... show more
