  • It nice looking
I don’t think it adds any capacity whatsoever considering it’s smaller than oem rad, hopefully it holds up. Also as others have said for the price it could come with the overflow fitting and auxiliary heater core hose connection rather than having to remove the old ones from the tank. Also the oem rad had a nice drain port you could connect a rubber hose to so you could control the draining of coolant much easier by connecting a rubber hose and dumping it into a bucket, next coolant change will be a real mess with the drain plug on this unit ... show more

  • Packaging is a problem
Put this radiator in my 1996 7.3 F250. Very easy install. It is not as wide as the OEM radiator so there is a lot of room and this seems to allow the brackets to flex even though I've checked all bolts and they are tight. Now for the reasons behind the three star rating: 1. Packaging is a big problem. The only foam is located on the top and bottom of the radiator. There is nothing between the box sidewall and the faces of the radiator so any damage to the box becomes damage to the core (see my picture). Additionally, both the top and bottom of the box were open when it arrived. They sent me a new one, no questions asked. Second one showed up the same. Top and bottom of box were open and the box had a hole in it. Fortunately this time the hole was just above the radiator mount, so whatever hit it missed causing any damage. This was pure luck. 2. They do not provide an overflow fitting. The overflow port is there but their video tells you to take the fitting off of your old radiator. That's great, except the OEM radiator is a single piece of molded plastic, so the fitting cannot be removed. Fitting was $7 at Advanced Auto Parts. It's a ~$400 radiator, don't be cheap and include a new fitting! ... show more

  • Beautiful but expensive
1995 F250 7.3 Beautiful and seems like a high quality radiator. Time will tell. Arrived undamaged. Installation messy but easy. FYI: My OEM radiator overflow fill nipple was part of the radiator. So had to find a new one to install on mishimoto. For the price, they should definitely include all the fittings. As of performance, same as OEM. So don’t expect cooler temps. Overall, so far very pleased. Fingers crossed no more leaks. ... show more

  • Impressive quality, bad packaging
I did get this for a heavily discounted price through the amazon warehouse. The packaging was grossly inadequate to keep the radiator safe from damage, which is likely why it was discounted so much. The aluminum casing that holds the tanks together had a significant dent and atleast some of the hardware needed to finish the install didn’t come or wasn’t included. However the radiator looks great, the welds are really nice and I do think it’s worth the full price in good condition. It’s going to be drastically more effective than the factory radiator and have a long service life. If they can get it to you without beating it to a pulp, it’s a no brainer to pick this over any replacement. If you’re doing this on a 95 power stroke, you’ll need a 1/4 threaded barb to finish the install for the small line going to the overflow tank ... show more

  • Watch out for the warehouse deals!
First let me say, the product itself is probably just fine, especially if its new. It sure looks nice with a nice polish and quality welds. My 2 star review is because I bought the warehouse special in " good used" condition with a description of "original packaging damaged". When it got here it had clearly been repackaged which I expected and was cool with (I paid less because of this). Well, when I went to install the lower coolant fitting, there was the threads of a snapped off piece in there already. Someone clearly bought this, broke their fitting off in the radiator and returned it. How no one caught this and it made it out of the warehouse is beyond me. I called amazon and spoke with a nice woman on the phone who was more than willing to process a return for me but that would have left my truck down longer and I need the truck back up amd running. I ended up being able to extract the broken threads and use the radiator but it was absolutely not worth the savings of the warehouse deal "good used". Be careful with warehouse deals. ... show more

  • Excellent upgrade from OEM
I purchased mine used through Amazon warehouse. Unlike other reviewers I had no issues. All the protective caps and plugs were in place, and aside from damage to the box it looked brand new. It is the correct size, and all the ports line up as they should. Definitely a must buy if you're running the original rad or a parts store replacement. That Autozone lifetime warranty won't pay for a rebuilt E4OD! I was running the factory rad, and a year after paying to have my trans rebuilt and upgraded it developed a leak internally, letting coolant get into the trans cooler lines, ruining my transmission. ... show more

  • Be careful if you own a F 350 1995 since it may not fit depending on your truck build month.
Product quality looked great but the problem was that it did not fit. The truck is a 1995 F350 as also verified on the title. It has a 7.3 engine but this radiator was totally different than the original, Upon further investigation I found that you need to look for yourself to see if you have a early 1995 F350 or later since the change was not at the beginning of the calander year. Mishimoto needs to mention this. I ended up having to repair the old radiator since the truck is used for work and it could not be out of service any longer. ... show more

  • You get what you pay for...in a good way
When it comes to cooling down you legendary 7.3L Powerstroke, Mishimoto is the only name that comes to mind. Does the price tag suck? Yes. Buy once cry once.
