Description

Keep your C6 on the track longer with the Mishimoto 2005-2013 Chevrolet Corvette Performance Aluminum Radiator. It's no secret that Chevy throttled the C6 Corvette's cooling system with the limited airflow, and undersized radiator equipped from the factory. There's no way to bring your track day to a screeching halt like an overheated LS engine. Mishimoto is here to help by way of swapping out ill-equipped stock plastic radiator with our all aluminum performance radiator. We started by ditching the plastic in the end-tanks for TIG-welded aluminum, both increasing the size, and improving the longevity. Our improvements didn't stop at the end tanks either. Our engineer redesigned the core with two rows of coolant passages and bumped the thickness to two inches. This new design equates to a 56% increase in fin surface area, 45% increase in volume contributing to improved cooling properties. The Mishimoto 2005-2013 Chevrolet Corvette Performance Aluminum Radiator also features engine oil and automatic transmission coolers integrated into the end tanks, ensuring that it's compatible with for your C6 no matter the cooling package equipped. So happy to be rid of the stock radiator with plastic side tanks - I had to replace it because it cracked and starting leaking. Of course that would happen being 8 years old and living through a Phoenix summer. I'm guessing I'm getting at least 10 degrees lower temp on average. Not much more to say about it. Not cheap, but very nice stuff. But one tip and it seems so obvious once you know. Since the stock radiator had coolant flowing through and into the plastic side tanks, I just assumed this would too. So when my 2013 427 Vert didn't use the left side oil cooling tank (because it has a separate oil cooler already) I thought I had to cap off or seal the unused holes/fittings on the left side tank. It was Sunday so I couldn't call them and needed my car for work the next day so I had to find some kind of drain plugs. I drove all around my part of the city and finally bought some huge bolts and nuts from Ace Hardware that fit. It cost me probably 3 or 4 hours. I called them the next day to see why they didn't provide plugs and they told me, unlike OEM, the side tanks do NOT hold coolant. It's the opposite of OEM. So I wasted hours.     • Nice upgrade for a little more than stock replacement.
I had a very difficult time finding a radiator for my 2006 corvette. There are like four different radiator set ups available for this year. After ordering and having to return three other products because they either didn’t have the extra line inputs I needed, or the lines just didn’t fit, I finally broke down and called the dealership to get a price. For the same plastic and aluminum radiator that had just failed the price was almost $600. So I decided to spend the extra money to just upgrade to this all aluminum model. I researched a few top brands and this one had some great reviews, R&D videos and other confidence boosters. After having the car out of service for almost a month trying other cheaper solutions, I was glad to finally have one fit like a glove. My only star retraction is the price. I would have given five if the price was more inline with others on this site. However you get what you pay for and at least one cheaper model on Amazon had to be sent back. ... show more

    • These guys need more exposure for the C6
I had been on the fence about upgrading to a Dewitts for 6mo since I did my head/cam install. This is 200$ cheaper with the same outcome. My car runs MUCH cooler. On their techincal PDF they claim only 5deg temp decreases with data as proof, but on the street its definitely better than 5deg. Can't go wrong with the lifetime warranty and quality engineering/design. Super easy install. HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend for anyone with a c6 corvette looking to shave some cooling temps for the street or track. ... show more

Used on a 2008 Corvette z06 Very high quality piece, on par with a DeWitts just a few bucks cheaper. Comes with transmission and engine oil cooler provisions, which I used both. You have to purchase Z51 oil lines for the Z06 to use the engine oil cooler. Holds great temps and helps the engine oil warm up quicker and be more stable. Well made and fairly easy to install. Because it is all aluminum it will last longer than the original under sized factory radiator. It does cost three times as much as the original but it is well worth it. I will never have to worry about high engine coolant temps under any conditions.

This radiator is great. Installed in a procharged c6 that used to idle between 212 and 230 during the summer months. It now sits between 176 and 190 with the A/C on. This is a great buy.

Amazing quality item and welds perfect. Recommend especially for 2005 C6 Z51 M6 because of three different radiators for that year. This one fits them all. Wish got at current low price but, quality best out there IMO.
