  • Great, but audio sometimes doesn't work
Color: Black
*Update a month in down below, added a star back to the overall rating thus making it five stars! Day two of having this and it works great! Zero (or very miniscule) latency and the quality is pretty good. I use it for my Switch as it's the only console I have since I primarily game on my PC and I've loved using it while playing the new Monster Hunter. I was originally going to wait a while before a review, but I decided that I would point out the issue I already have with it. The audio on the card sometimes just doesn't work. I'm not sure if it's an issue with the cord it came with or the capture card itself. At the beginning of day two, I turned on my PC and got prepared to use the capture card but to my annoyance, no audio was coming from the card. Alright, I thought the HDMI cords might have gotten wiggled (they fit snuggly into the card, but this was my first thought) out of place and I made sure they were fine. Still no sound. After a bit I realized it wasn't the HDMI cords, but the USB cord. Now, I've never had an issue with that particular USB port, so I know that the port itself isn't the issue. I had thought the audio problem was a one-off, perhaps the cord not being inserted all the way, but I had to do some restarts on my computer again a few hours later and just as a test decided to check the audio on the card and it had done it again. So I had to unplug it the same as this morning. It's a simple thing, albeit an issue that I'd rather not have. If this issue wasn't present, I'd be completely satisfied with the card and give it 5-stars! While I do recommend the card, I do think it's something to keep in mind before purchasing. If by chance any other issues arise, I will update this review! I'll also mention that the site has horrible bandwidth, so watching their videos takes a long time if you're not downloading them (which also takes a bit regardless of your internet). This doesn't take any points off of the product itself, by the way, but I feel like mentioning it won't hurt if you're hoping the site is a speed demon for their videos. UPDATE: The USB needs to be removed and reinserted every time I turn my computer off and then back on. I had previously thought that it happened occasionally, but it's every time. A tedious problem for an otherwise great capture card. UPDATE: A month after using this, the audio issue seems to have fixed itself. I decided after a rather stressful day to try using it despite not unplugging and plugging in again, and lo and behold, it worked. I'm not sure how far in it started working, but either way I am very happy. As for how the card is functioning a month in, the card is still working great! I will definitely not hesitate to recommend this if anyone asks me for a cheaper capture card! ... show more

  • HighlyRecommend, Consistent live Stream, OBS, Streamyard, YouTube,
Color: Black
Capture cards are crucial to streaming with an external Camera, DSLR, MIRRORLESS, OR a CinéRig, and I’ve used 5 so far, MIRACAST Capture just works. I have an AI powered camera, a simple WebCam, and require a full featured DSLR,, or A LUMIX G9, mirrorless unit for the video version of a Professional Sports Podcast, i CoHost. That said, there’s not a lot of room for ‘Capture Device not Recognized’, and anyone who’s streamed on OBS, recorded on OBS, or STREAMYARD, you are familiar, it’s a weird idiosynchrocy, that plagues external camera connections, and seems too always pop up WHENEVER YOU HAVE A GUEST, OR anything that’s urgent or time sensitive. Production doesn’t seem like a big deal, but when it’s designed for an actual betting platform app, so it’s actually no different than a 4K full feature pre-recorded series. Mira box Capture has been implemented a month ago, and it’s worked flawlessly for our show, 4 days a week full set, full DOP Crew, and multi guests, multi hosts, add highlights, specific NCAA, NHL clips for reference, and I couldn’t say more about this device. I LIVE STREAM , CLEAN 4K out, into MIRACAST , then out to a Portkeys Monitor, and the USB 3.0 directly into a Zephrys, G14, Ryzen 9, without a hiccup. I normally run OBS W/ 3X Recorder plug in to pre record, or STREAMYARD to stream live. Audio / Video quality is A+, and again I CANNOT STRESS ENOUGH how solid it is, it works, it CONSISTENTLY WORKS, and is self powered by the Signal. Which is huge, because of all the need power ‘mains’, out needed to power accessories. I have been out of the review circle for a while because of other projects, but I WAS MOTIVATED TO LEAVE THIS REVIEW as I acquired a bunch of new equip. for the podcast, so it’s only fair to offer my prof opinion, so I HIGHLY RECOMMEND, THIS IS A SOLID 5STAR BUY! ... show more

  • Solid Capture Card for the Price
Color: Black
I got the Mirabox USB3.0 HDMI Video Capture Card to use with my Xbox Series X, and overall it’s been pretty good. Video comes through at a nice 1080P 60FPS, and setup was easy—plug and play basically. It’s not perfect—sometimes there’s a tiny bit of lag or the software can be a little clunky—but for the price, it’s honestly a great value. Captures gameplay well without costing a fortune, and it’s perfect if you’re just getting into recording or streaming ... show more

  • Money's Worth
Color: Grey
As a person who loves to play video games to relax and forget about reality, I decided to record my games and do a little live streaming. When I opened the box, my first impression, nice color scheme, gray with red trim. It was compact, light weight, firm and of good quality. The box had a USB cable cord and warranty card too. I searched for detailed instructions, because this is my first time, but there were none to be found. I read the warranty card and it said to watch a video for setup and if there are further questions call Amazon. The set up went fine as a first timer. The HD Video Capture works as described. The recording inside was clear and outside it picked up cars driving by. The images show good on my laptop and tv screen. Audio was good and there was minimum lag time. No frames were dropped during streaming. I was satisfied with my purchase and the performance overall was good. I will definitely get my money's worth. ... show more

  • Garbage
Color: Black
This capture card doesn't even record at 60fps. It actually only records 30fps but your output display does run at 60 which is why there is confusion on what runs what. This thing worked for like 3 years for me and eventually just died out on me. Whenever you move it even slightly the signal just goes out and you have to re-adjust it for it to work properly. 0/10 capture considering there is way better capture cards that outperform this thing by miles for a lower price. This thing is a scam. ... show more
