I purchased this to seal the drills on my diamond paintings. After seeing some reviews and techniques decided to but this and try it out. The container is really mini but it was more than enough for the size of canvas I was going to cover. It does apply with a milky color but will dry clear. I give it about 24 hours before actually touching but it does dry fast. It stiffens the canvas to where there not much flexibility but over all it’s fine. I bought this product to use as a primer & sealer on Dollar Tree Foam board. The foam board paper was delaminating's during prep for painting with other water based products that I tried. I have had great success with good results. This is the water based product that doesn't have strong chemical odour. I have used it as a primer for Water based acrylic paint as well as enamel spray paint. It dries quickly and sands really easy making prep a snap. I have also patched delaminated foamboard using this as an adhesive by applying it both to the foam and paper. Super easy cleanup with water. I love the look it gives my work. Only thing is make sure in little cracks or spaces in the wood you don’t see any little bubbles, if you do make sure you take care of them right away. Because i didn’t pay attention I guess and those bubbles dried and was such a pain to remove them. But only wood gloss I’ll use ... show more

I like the shine/color. I’m a beginner, maybe a little difficult in performance? Overall nice…. finish but again I am new, so, not really sure. I liked the price so I tried it but I also bought Modpodge at the same time and have been using that more than the Minwax.
