Overall I was impressed with the amount of adjustability in this rig. I put the main frame together in less than an hour. I like the way the seat frame is setup - I have a bit of a rake to my race car seat and could mimic it here. It also appears to be able to accommodate any seat you wish to use. My main concern is the quality of the hardware - the bolts, nuts and washers are the standard cheap Chinese junk. No attachment hardware was provided with the seat itself. There were sufficient leftover pieces from the frame kit, but I will likely change them over to grade 8 hardware - the cheapness of the bolt and nut threads didn’t give me a confident hold. It’s give this 4.5 if possible. Include grade 8 hardware for all of the load-bearing areas of the seat mount and you would be there. The way the frame sections slide into each other provides plenty of added strength elsewhere.

The only thing I did not like is the seat mounting brackets are a little weak and the seat can wobble side to side, I am going to add a brace and it should be good. It was fairly easy to assemble, and all of the steering and brake pedals lined right up with the holes provided

This cockpit was very easy to put together, it took approximately 1 hour to put together,the instruction manual was very easy to follow, I did end up with slot of extra fasteners which a was so happy about, so far it seems very sturdy, you can mod it to make it better more so with the frame where the steering wheel attaches to, overall very happy with the cockpit. I did fit it with a seat from a Toyota celica, if you are handy with a welder and a grinder you can mod the seat base of the seat easily all it took was to grind the brackets off the seat base and weld 4 bolts onto it, the seat fit very well on the cockpit brackets and is very comfortable for driving

In the shoulders, the seat is about two inches too narrow on both sides, and I am not particularly large framed guy at 6' 1" medium build. The frame comes in to pieces and uses 1" bars on either side to adjust overall length. One of the square tube openings was bent in on one side such that I had to pull the plastic sleeve out and use a crescent wrench to correct the opening. Once done, it went together just fine. I will replace the seat here and would not recommend that you purchase the seat for this unless you have really narrow shoulders. Otherwise, this is a good starter unit for console sim racing.

For the price, this is a decent entry level frame to dip your toe into the racing sim waters, so to speak. It was pretty straight forward and easy to assemble. The adjustment between the front pedal/wheel section and the rear seat section is nice to help dial in your distance between the seat and pedals. A couple lacking aspects/areas of improvement... Some of the threaded holes were not well tapped, luckily I have a tap/die set I was able to run through to clean up the threads. Though many people may not be able to do this and might struggle with having to ram some of the bolts through. The uprights for the steering wheel attachment are not very sturdy and you'll find it wobbles a bit from side to side if actively steering. I'll probably look at some modifications to try and tighten this up, but certainly something the manufacture should have accounted for.

If you want an entry/mid-level steering wheel mount that can have the seat added later, you will be hard-pressed to find a unit of this quality and price. I looked into several solutions including just getting the wheel/to peddle system alone, knowing I would go to a seat at some point in the future. with a price difference of only $20 for getting the seat bracket assembly as well, I couldn't resist. I bought the a few months back, and have enjoyed it without the seat and with the seat. It is stable enough for my tastes, and while there is some left/right play in the wheel mount section (because it is adjustable and not trussed due to this feature), it doesn't get in the way of performance or feedback. I am fully immersed when playing, and step away from the game with my heart pumping every time. I would recommend this only for people like me getting into internet racing at the lower-mid and entry-level...the next stop into mid-level and upper is expensive, and this unitl will tell you weather or not you're going to need more, or if you're happy here. Don't spend more than you have to when trying this out...racing rigs are VERY expensive.
