  • Great video car for mulitple monitors

  • Low profile, capable video card as long as you understand its place.
Let’s start with realistic expectations: the GT 730 is not a graphics card designed for modern, top-tier gaming in 2026. With many new titles recommending 8GB of VRAM or more, this card simply isn’t built for that level of performance. That said, it absolutely has its place. For users running older systems with integrated graphics like an Intel HD 4600 or similar, this card can be a noticeable upgrade. It offers better overall graphical performance and, importantly, enables multi-monitor setups that many integrated solutions struggle with. Its low-profile design is another strong advantage. It fits easily into small form factor cases, making it a practical choice for compact desktops or HTPC builds connected to a large-screen TV. For media playback, streaming, office tasks, and lighter applications, it performs reliably. It can even handle simple or less demanding games like Minecraft without issue. The key with the GT 730 is understanding its purpose. It’s not a gaming powerhouse, but as an affordable upgrade for older systems, a multi-monitor solution, or a compact home theater PC, it does its job well. If you match the card to the right expectations and needs, it’s a solid and practical option. ... show more

  • Good for multi-monitor but not anywhere near a topline card
I picked this up because I’ve been trying to run a quad-monitor setup for my home office in Jersey, and honestly, finding something that doesn't require a massive power supply or a giant tower is tougher than it looks. I’m not doing any crazy gaming—mostly just spreadsheets, way too many browser tabs, and some streaming—so I didn't need a top-tier rig, just something reliable with enough plugs. First off, the size is great. It’s a single-slot card, so it tucked right into my compact PC without me having to move wires around or worry about it overheating the whole case. Having four HDMI ports on one little card is a lifesaver; no more messing around with sketchy adapters or daisy-chaining monitors. I plugged everything in, fired it up, and it recognized all four screens pretty much instantly. For a basic productivity build, it does exactly what it says on the box. Now, just a heads-up for anyone thinking they’re getting a powerhouse: this is definitely not a gaming card. If you try to run anything modern on it, you’re gonna have a bad time. It's using older memory tech, so it’s strictly for office work or maybe a trading setup. Also, the bracket was a little snug getting it into my case, but a little elbow grease got it seated. Bottom line: if you’re just looking to spread your work across four screens without spending a fortune or building a monster PC, this is a solid buy. Just don't expect to be playing the latest titles on it. ... show more

  • POOR INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS & NEED IMPROVEMENT ON EXACT DRIVERS TO USE AND WHERE TO FIND THEM
It first took a while to figure out how to get my older tower open, much less get access to the existing video card. That finally solved, I tried to go to both the AMD and Nvidia web sites to download the drivers. No device found was the message from both web sites. I went back to the graphics card description on Amazon and read everything slowly, Finally, in a submenu, I found the key words: "This device uses an Nvidia chip set. The PRODUCT is GeForce. The SERIES is GeForce 700 Series. The PRODUCT NAME is GeForce GT730. Armed with those three pieces of data, I went back to Nvidia and navigated to the correct driver set. I tried to load the GT730 set, but it complained that other installers were running and quit. I went back to the desktop and killed everything running and then tried the installation again. The driver installation time rather long as it has to delete other video instances before starting its own installation. When it was done, I was given the option to see some aspects of the driver, but could not get past the splash screen. Finally, I had to reboot to move on. I first was running two monitors from the native CPU HDMI ports and only 1 HDMI port on the new card. That seemed to work, so right now running two monitors off of the card with only one monitor running from a CPU port. If everything seems to be OK, I'll switch the remaining monitor over to the new card. A BIG MINUS: The instructions should be clearer about what drivers are required and where to find them. It took me almost half a day trying to figure out how to get the thing running correctly. A BETTER SET OF DOCUMENTATION IS IN ORDER FOR THIS PRODUCT. ... show more

  • Good for Multi-Monitor Setup not for gaming
This GT 730 works well if your main goal is running multiple monitors. The four HDMI ports are very convenient, and it handles basic office tasks, browsing, spreadsheets, and media playback across multiple screens without issues. Setup was straightforward, and it was recognized easily by the system. The 4GB DDR3 memory is fine for productivity use, but this is not a card for gaming or heavy graphic workloads. It’s clearly designed for multi-display workstations, trading setups, or digital signage rather than performance-intensive tasks. In terms of durability, the card feels solidly built. The components and cooling solution seem sturdy enough for long-term workstation use, and it runs consistently without overheating. It’s a dependable option for systems that stay on for extended hours.Graphics quality is fine for everyday productivity and HD media playback. It runs quietly, fits well in a standard desktop case, and doesn’t require extra power connectors, which makes installation simple. Overall, it’s a solid, budget-friendly option if you just need reliable multi-monitor support. ... show more
