I love this brand. I have started to switch to all of my cleaning products to Method. I purchased this actually by accident and since I had it. I had to try it out. My stove top has never been so easy to clean before. I was truly impressed by this product. It does exactly what it says. The scent isn’t too strong and the bottle size is a very good amount for the money. I also use the glass spray on my shower doors and they are sparkling. Just spray and wait a couple minutes and wipe the stove off. Everything came off beautifully. I use the wood cleaner on all of my wooden furniture and it does a great job. I love this brand for just about anything that needs to be done around the house. Also I want to add that it came packaged very well with tape over the sprayer so no leaking. Method is compatible with everything I have in my house. The love the ingredients because it’s all plant based. I definitely recommend this product to anyone that hates cleaning their stove top. This is truly a great product! This works amazingly well on grease covered, baked on, stuck on pans! I also used this to clean the outside of our grill from all the nasty grease. So this product was recommended to me by a friend who is a professional cleaner. She swears by the stuff, and I got to experience it firsthand in my kitchen when she came to help clean before I move. As I watched her, I also asked her what products she used and would totally recommend based on how well she said they work. This was my number one item Which I’m super glad that I got based on the fact that after we moved the new house had a 1970s style hood with a fan and the previous tenant clearly like to cook with oil. It was tons of splatter and sticky stuff on the backsplash in the hood and I was able to get a lot of that off of the hood, which is a more smooth surface, but it didn’t work so well on a textured painted surface. In the end, I tried hot water vinegar, baking soda paste, lemon, peel, go gone, and hot steam, as well as just using my fingernail and almost nothing except my fingernail painstakingly trying to scrape off the sticky left behind gun worked. This heavy‑duty degreaser works extremely well and cuts through tough grease quickly. I used it on my stovetop and oven, and it lifted buildup without a lot of scrubbing. The lemongrass scent is a nice bonus — fresh and clean without being overpowering.

    • Works Well, But Not a Big Step Up from the All-Purpose Cleaner

I’ve been using Method cleaners for a while now and generally like the brand—they strike a good balance between being more eco-friendly while still cleaning effectively. I compared this degreaser side by side with the Method All-Purpose Cleaner on my stovetop, and honestly, the performance was very similar. The degreaser does work and cuts through grease, but I didn’t notice a major advantage for everyday kitchen use. From what I’ve seen, the All-Purpose Cleaner is strong enough to handle most regular grease and surface cleaning on its own, so I don’t always feel like I need a separate product specifically for that. That said, this still works well and would likely be more useful for heavier buildup or more stubborn grease. What I like: Cleans grease effectively Works as expected Consistent with the Method brand quality Things to be aware of: Not a huge difference compared to the All-Purpose Cleaner for everyday use May not be necessary for lighter cleaning Overall: A solid cleaner that does its job, but based on my testing, the difference between this and the all-purpose cleaner isn’t significant for typical household use. ... show more
