Excellent trolling motor! Spot lock works perfect, and I figured out the autopilot with the one boat app. Works like a dream with the remote control! Paired it with a Minn Kota Talon and completely conquered quartering winds with zero effort! Put the trolling motor in spot lock, waited a few seconds for the boat to settle, and dropped the talon for the quartering effect. Didn't move an inch! Great addition to the boat, we mounted this on our 1436 John boat and it moves, the technology is definitely overkill for this cheap little build, but it works perfect for what we want out of it. The communication with it between your phone and the hummingbird Helix is pretty awesome. Mounted ours to a quick release and couldn't be happier.
