The patented Lift-Assist design with a stainless steel, nitrogen gas-charged spring cuts the weight of stow-and-deploy in half, while the removable Bowguard 360 bracket breaks away on impact from any angle and automatically resets itself to give you uninterrupted fishing. The mount's integrated counter-tension stabilizer spring applies force whether the Riptide Fortrex is stowed or deployed, helping reduce steering torque. This variable-speed trolling motor includes Minn Kota's Digital Maximizer feature, which allows you to dial in your exact speed, draws only as much power as you need, and provides up to five times longer run time on a single battery charge. The push-to-test battery meter on the trolling motor head gives you an instant status of the battery life you have left.
