Shipping of this item was problematic. We tried to cancel the original order then a couple of days later we found out it wasn't. The original shipping date was great then it was changed to a time when no one was going to be around for about a week with porch pirates and such. When we tried to return and reorder it became a mess. The seller claimed they would correct the problem but it got worse. Then the original item showed up a day before we left, then another item showed up the day we got back. We have never had this kind of problem before or after. Things did work out in the end.     • Stopped working after two uses

Worthless. Used this motor twice, and it had issues both times. First time out, it was vibrating loudly right off the bat, then tripped the breaker on my battery after getting caught in the weeds. I didn't think it was a big deal, as trolling motors are commonly used around shallow weed beds. I cleaned out the weeds, took it out again a week later, and it made some funny sounds, then completely stopped working, leaving me stranded. Minnkota won't replace the motor or help with the repair. Needless to say, I bought a motor from a different company after this. This one is going in the trash. Waste of materials and my money. ... show more
