I bought this instead of a Steam Machine and I am so happy with it. It's far more powerful, was the same price (I got it for $1439) and offers a better experience overall since it's working with a Windows platform that most games are already designed for. At first glance, I was so impressed with how solid and well made the G1 Pro is. It is heavy! Every piece of plastic looks well made and intentionally designed. There was a lot of work put into this machine. It's well equipped to handle modern AAA titles at reasonable performance, and any game older than 2-3 years you can enjoy fully maxed out on ultra settings. It's been a joy to play my games that I previously struggled to mix high-medium settings. Minisforum does not load any bloatware on the system. It's bare bones Windows 11 and just their Minisforum performance app for changing the color LED's or performance mode. However, the one negative I found is that antivirus software will flag the Minisforum app for having a security exploit due to using an older type of exe file. It's NOT spyware, but rather a security vulnerability. I simply removed the Minisforum app and opted for MSI Afterburner instead. No big deal. I opted to avoid the vertical stand and instead bought some rubber speaker isolation legs on Amazon, 1.2" tall, and mounted my G1 Pro horizontally. Thermals have been great using Windows Balanced power profile. On a strenuous game, I have CPU temps in the 80's and GPU in the 70's. Even after a few hours, they stay solid and under control. Very impressive. Opening it up to install custom hardware was as easy as removing 2 screws and popping off the side panel. That's it! I installed a second M.2 SSD in under 10min. It's VERY tight inside, so you have to be meticulous, but it was easy overall. It even comes with an extra heatsink for the 2nd SSD of your choosing. The heatsink matches the exact one from the factory installed SSD so it all stays uniform. Highly impressed with this PC. It's a great system overall, especially for the price. The graphics card is quite capable of playing games, and 32GB of RAM give this system enough space for large applications.

I’ve had the Minisforum AtomMan G1 Pro for a few days now and I’m really impressed by it. It packs a full desktop RTX 5060 GPU and a powerful AMD Ryzen 9 16-core CPU into a super small case that’s smaller than my PS5. It looks clean and modern on my desk or in the living room. Gaming performance is excellent. The G1 Pro runs most modern games smoothly at 1440p with high settings, and DLSS makes everything even better!. I’ve played everything from big open-world titles to fast shooters and it handles them all quite well. The built-in power supply is a nice touch – no ugly brick on the floor. The build quality feels solid, and it’s easy to open up if you want to add more RAM or another SSD. Wi-Fi 7 and the fast 5GbE port are future-proof, and it stays surprisingly quiet during normal use. A couple of small things to mention: it can get warm under heavy, long gaming sessions (normal for a tiny PC this powerful), and there aren’t tons of USB ports, so I picked up a cheap USB hub. Neither one bothers me enough to drop a star. Overall, if you want strong gaming performance without a big desktop tower taking up space, this is a great choice. It's definitely designed to run anything but it's a bit annoying booting it up because of Windows. The fan does keep it cool but it can get a little noisy running games. Easily can use two HDMI screens and has multiple PC screen hook ups. Matches my PS 5 but half the size. This definitely runs better than a Steambox with memory being upgradable. ... show more

I bought the Minisforum G1 Pro because it came in a smaller form factor than a bulky desktop and is upgradable. I use it with high a high refresh rate TV and soundbar. I got tired of the consoles with their weak CPUs. I like being able to customize the games I'm playing for my liking. Another plus is this PC didn't come with bloatware. I had interest in the upcoming Steam Machine until I saw YouTube reviews for this. ... show more

This is a great price (it was on sale $1439.90) for my needs in gaming. While waiting on the Steam Machine this is good alternative even though G1 Pro may be more. Still worth it. Being able to swapped out gpu card, ram, hd is a bonus should you need to do future upgrades. They also provide an extra heat sink if you want add on another hd. This came with bios version 1.05 3/2026 and you will be able to receive secure boot certificate 2023 with no hassles, was able to get ms new secure boots updated via windows update. This comes with Win11 Pro. While on the minisforums website shows bios version 1.03, you will not need to use that version. Overall having a good time with this sleek mini pc for gaming.
