I really like this tiny saw. I found wood on Amazon that is perfect and very affordable. Though I'll use this for many things. It is very small but it fills that niche for things I want to cut quickly that are small, and there are many. This will be used. I looked for a DC version because my shed runs on DC. I have AC through an inverter when I turn it on. The variable function of the saw relies in their variable transformer so to use the different speeds you change the voltage through the adapter that requires AC. I suspect most will always want full speed, 24v. I considered other mini saws with sanders and rotary tools but I had these. I needed the small saw. The laser imprinting for measures is hard to read as it's a close color to the base and in centimeters. So find one of those tapes. This is small but full of function so yiu could keep this as needed but as easy as the cutting is, you may leave it easily accessible. To change blades it does require you to take the table off with four crews then change blade. My impression is extremely basic, cheaper, and very useful and easy to use. ... show more
