I purchased this CB because of the mini form factor. I store it in my center console when not in use. I paired it with a short magnetic mount CB antenna which also stores easily. Good quality for the price point. Good audio from the speaker. The user manual is somewhat difficult to interpret but functional. The default 'US' standard program does not work properly. No FM function or ASQ control. I changed the standard to 'EU' program and all functions work. All in all a nice little CB. ... show more

    • Extremely Disappointing
This thing has caused me so much stress and disappointment. I could never get it to pick up any signals, and I’ve tried troubleshooting it every way possible for the past month. My best guess is that it’s designed for Europe, not the US, and won’t work correctly here even though what I read online led me to believe it would not really matter what it was programmed to. The biggest problem is that I made the mistake of trying to work with the sellers and troubleshoot it instead of just returning immediately, so I kept buying more and more parts and wasting countless hours on this. Now I’ve got over $100 in it that I can’t get back because I barely fall outside the return windows on all these parts. I’m so upset that I’m clearing my cart on here and not buying anything else from Amazon for a while. ... show more

I bought two of these radios they work very well good quality great sound you can put them anywhere because of there small size I put one in my car and my jeep they got features the auto squelch function is really good the small size is very handy a great value for what you pay

The media could not be loaded. I'm a Red Cross Disaster Response volunteer, specializing in communications, licensed for both ham and GMRS radio. My vehicle looks like a mobile NASA command center, which is why I like this CB radio. CB doesn't have the popularity it used to have, but it's still used by truckers, farmers, hunters, and occasionally the Cajun Navy. This radio is small and doesn't have all the modern bells and whistles, but it does the job of sending and receiving information. Audio is good enough but it also has an audio-out jack so you can add a better speaker if you feel the need. The 12V cigarette lighter plug is hard wired to the radio, which I personally don't like. Plugging it into the 12V like that increases interference from the engine's electrical system. I prefer to hardwire it directly to the battery. This CB doesn't come with an antenna and be sure to NEVER transmit without an antenna attached. Without an antenna, the electrical signal of the transmission has no way to exit the radio, causing it to fry itself as the electricity runs through components not designed to handle that level of power. I like the RoadPro magnetic mount CB antennas (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001P4ZJBA). For best results you'll want to "tune" the antenna - look up how to do so on YouTube. The improvement in transmission distance/power is very worth the minor effort it takes. ... show more

    • Well built for the cost. Not able to get it to switch AM to FM though.
This unit is small but seems well built. I bought this for use in our UTV and it fits nicely. The operation instructions are passable - I haven't been able to get it to switch from am to fm - I hope it's only because I haven't gotten my antenna installed yet. Otherwise, I am very happy with it.

    • This CB radio is hit or miss as far as whether the one you get will work or not.
I got it and installed it into my new Ford Maverick and it doesn't work.

Read the manual correctly Haha. It's the best smallest unit I've gotten. Sound is Very clear and easy to install. But yes to use the AM/FM switch just change the CB-standard to the one that uses both. The unit build's quality looks good and feels good. The Mike feels like a toy but works well.
