My son recently started picking up sewing, and since I have a fairly expensive machine I was hesitant to let him have at it whenever he wanted to try a new project. I mean, he may have picked a chill hobby, but he's still 8 and he still subscribes to typical 8 Year Old levels of irresponsibility quite often. Using this machine was a big step away from what I'm used to, but for my kid it was just the right amount of simplicity and has enough options to keep things exciting without making it complicated or confusing. The size is awesome, too! Easy to store or to bring along when visiting family. I definitely recommend it!

I am so pleased with this little machine. I don't need a big heavy machine, just enough to do mending and small projects. It is light weight, easy to handle, store, and learn, my bobbins fit from my old machine. There isn't anything perfect but for me this is just fine. I have already caught up on my small mending jobs. It is slow but I am retired and not going anywhere, lol.
