She loves it! We've only had it for a day but she's been making pillows, purses, and masks almost all her waking hours. She taught herself how to operate w/o mommy's help. The only issue so far was replacing the upper bobbin, we had to watch a video from the internet on mini-sewing machines. The instructions looked like the Bobbin Holder Lock could be removed, but it was really jammed tight - so we had a touch go at removing - but got it done & replaced the bobbin :) ... show more

Even for a beginner, this many sewing machine is way too small. The power and pedal cords are way too short. You are better off paying a little extra money to get a full size sewing machine that you can use as you get better at sewing than $50 or $60 on something you are only going to practice on for a short period of time. ... show more
