Let’s be real, this computer does not have as much power as a regular desktop or a high end laptop, but for the price point you can’t expect that. However, what you do get is a decently powered computer with a ridiculously small foot print. This computer works great for basic computing tasks, surfing the internet, etc. it’s so small that it is easy to stick in the closet to run my home media system (audio and video) without breaking a sweat or the bank. I love how you can add a second harddrive to it, so I can have all my music and videos directly on the computer without having to attach an external harddrive. A decent hardware at this price point. Comes loaded with Win 11 pro. The description says optical drive but I don’t see one which is why I am giving 4 stars. Update After upgrading windows, Bluetooth devices stopped working, I called customer support and I got to speak with Kevin in almost no wait. That is the good part. I was hoping to get a link to download Bluetooth driver first on Acemagic and then on realtek but couldn’t find one. Kevin send me a link to iobit site. It is a third party software that found the right drivers but it installed ton of other free software. I like to run bare minimum software and that is where I can’t compromise. So I ended up returning it. OS upgrades are normal things and I don’t want to deal with it on an outgoing basis. ... show more

ACEMAGIC Mini PC AK1 PRO We were in need of a smaller computer with the benefits of modern computers at a reasonable cost. This Mini PC definitely fit the bill and checked all the boxes for what we needed. The Mini PC’s size without the expansion 2.5” SSD bezel is 5”X5”x1.5”. If you add on the bezel then the height increases by roughly .5”. Also, if you like, you can mount the pc to the back of some monitors. The screw placement will need to be 3 and 1/8" apart from the center of the screws. This PC has some very nice hardware installed as stated on the listing. With the SSD hard drive and 16 GB DDR4 ram the computer is very quick to boot and is quick to refresh when you have multiple programs open. The Celeron processor works great for normal day to day computer programs, but is not really meant for serious gaming or programs that require lots of CPU processing overhead. It has both wifi and Ethernet connections, multiple USB ports and 2 HDMI connections for dual displays. However it does not have built-in speakers or microphone. You would need either USB speakers or microphone or desktop speakers with a 1/8th connection. Couple of great additional features is that windows 11 pro (this a hundred dollar upgrade from W11 home) you can remote (RDP) into this device and for additional security you have the option of Bitlocker full disk encryption. Pretty nice upgrade. All in all, this is great computer for most normal users that are looking for a low cost alternative to some of the name brand alternatives that come in larger and for more than double the price. ... show more

This mini PC is exactly what I needed for my son's desk. It is very easy to connect, with just a power cord (included), HDMI cable (included) to the monitor, and USB ports for keyboard and mouse. It has an ethernet port too, but I just used wifi. It is able to connect to both 2.4g (long range, more stable connection) and 5g (faster if you are close enough to the access point), so you can use whichever network connection is best for your situation. After turning it on, it went straight to the Windows 11 profile setup and I was soon viewing the operating system. After connecting to the internet, I ran all the waiting Windows updates (there were many), and that took about an hour. That's normal for a new computer that has been sitting in a box for a while, so no problems there. I'm extremely happy to report that there was absolutely NO grayware or bloatware. In fact, the programs list only had about 4 programs listed, so you're getting nothing but the operating system and default web browser. That's perfect for my son, since the only thing he needs is Minecraft and Steam to play games. The performance is very respectable for such an affordable desktop computer. 16GB of RAM is excellent, and the 512GB hard drive is more than sufficient for most people. The Celeron processor and lack of independant graphics processing is certainly the weak point of this computer, but it plays Minecraft and some other games that my son likes just fine. There is no built-in speaker, but you can connect analog or USB headphones, which is just fine. I'm extremely happy with it and recommend it for any inexpensive computer needs. 5 stars! ... show more
