Just like all of the 5 star reviews, I am really impressed with this unit. When you connect a keyboard, mouse and monitor and turn the power on, installation begins. You are walked through the entire installation process. Be prepared for quite a few Windows 11 updates. and several restarts. When it's through, you'll have a fully operational windows 11 system up and running. The only operation I didn't like was being forced into using Windows Hello plus a code for signing into your system. But I easily changed my profile back to using a password and bypassing the Windows Hello. Great job on building this compact PC! ... show more

    • A real and good PC! Great value.
[professional PC tech & IT consultant here] So, this is a full blown PC with a full copy of Windows 11 Pro. Just Windows by itself is worth the ~$100 price. That makes this item a crazy good value. It's got all the internal bells and whistles the average user would typically want. Plug in a keyboard, mouse, and monitor, and you're good to go. It even comes with a bracket to mount the case to the back of a monitor. Built-in WiFi and Bluetooth are very handy since most folks need both, and no external dongles are required. These super small form-factor PCs are great for use where space is limited, but the trade-off is that they're generally not upgradeable or repairable. At this price, that's not much of a problem. This PC does have a very small and quiet fan that runs at times. I like that it's not loud at all. The performance of this PC is quite good. It's very responsive and not in the least bit sluggish or frustrating (no sarcasm). I'm thinking of making it another node on my network and using it for coding while the wife is watching streaming vids, and/or gaming on our LAN. I'm in the process of doing a deep scan for any malware or other shenanigans, and I doubt there is anything serious to be found. However, if I do find anything worth mentioning, I'll come back here and update this. Again, at ~$100, this is a killer bargain. At the time of writing this, the item is "Currently unavailable.", but if it does become available again, especially for under ~$250, get it! ... show more

    • Works well for a TV Streaming PC
I got this to use in our living room as a PC for streaming internet content and video files (ripped DVDs) to our TV. It does come with Windows 11 Pro installed and was easy to set up. I put a USB dongle in for a keyboard touchpad device I have and hooked it up to the TV via HDMI. For our streaming purposes it works great! No lags, runs well without noticeable slow downs. It will also play .mp4 files equally as well. There is no noticeable noise. It also seems to run cool. So far so good. I will update if things change. ... show more

I was very surprised at how fast this little PC is, even with only 8GB of RAM. The setup was very simple, and it connected easily to various Bluetooth and USB devices. The WiFi 6 is very fast. The one issue I had was removing the preinstalled computer management software. Normal uninstall did not remove it; it would reinstall when I restarted the PC. I had to clean some registry items using an uninstall tool to delete the program permanently. I highly recommend this Nimo Mini PC. ... show more
