This is my first sewing machine purchase. I had two pairs of jeans that needed new zippers and I wanted to replace them myself. This is a great starter machine. It comes pre threaded and ready to go. It has easy to understand instructions about all of the parts and how to operate the machine. You can even practice the different patterns on the fabric the is already in place when you set up the machine. It works well and I was able to replace the zippers without difficulty. It also comes with a bunch of thread in many colors and everything else you would need to start any project.

My wife picked this up recently because she’s going to be a bridesmaid in three weddings this year. Between the dresses, bachelorette outfits, and rehearsal dinners, she decided it would be more efficient (and economical) to handle her own alterations. This sewing machine has been perfect for her, it’s compact enough to move around easily but powerful enough to handle the material of the dresses. She was up and running with it the same day and has already fixed a few hems and made some customizations. It doesn’t take up much space, stores neatly, and runs smoothly. A great buy for any home that occasionally needs some sewing done, especially when wedding season hits hard.

I had to patch up some tears on jeans and shirts, else would have had to throw those away and this this small beautiful thing came in handy. Was easy to setup and use, saw some reference videos on basic sewing and I was good to go. Comes with threads and other kit, which is great functionality, and the build is pretty decent and its good for beginners, you can some basic patch work and also build some baby dresses and other stuff. Go for it

I’ve always wanted to learn how to sew with a machine, but no one in my family ever did, so I started from scratch with zero knowledge. This is exactly what I needed. It was easy to setup and get working. It came with all the essential parts needed including starter thread to fix all my clothing. My mom is in love with this sewing machine. She has always used the big, chunky, heavy weight sewing machines which are difficult to move and operate so a move away from that to this little wonder has been amazing for her. This is packed with all the required features that would come with a standard electric sewing machines including the 16 different sewing verities.
