Thid is a very good saw. It works well with either the abrasive cut-off wheel or the saw blade. We are using this saw to cut type L (hard) copper pipe of 1/4" ID for fabrication of small pipe fittings for use in the lab. Nice little saw easy to use. Cuts copper pipe. Hard to hold long lengths in place while trying to cut. The blade provided only lasts for a few cuts.

The saw is pretty much what I was expecting, a rebranded harbor freight type product. I originally bought it to cut 6mm SS shaft to 50mm segments, but quickly gave up on that prospect. It takes about 5-10 minutes of very gentle pressure to cut through a 6mm shaft. I have been having decent luck cutting SS M3 rod, but even that takes patience. ... show more

This is a great little mitre saw. Cuts small pieces without worrying that I will cut on fingers on the blade. I have some small delicate pieces that need to be cut and I cannot do it on a large saw.
