    • Cannot put on blade

Have had this for 3 months and can't use it because I can't figure out how to put on the blade. I am not an experienced carpenter nor am I a complete novice and have a dozen or so power landscape and woodworking tools that I have successfully assembled and used for years but I have never owned a mini circular saw. These directions are useless unless you have already done this before. I don't know where the spindle lock button is nor what the blade spindle is (I can guess but so far my guesses have failed to get me past this first step). The exploded assembly diagram assigns a number to every single part inside and outside but the numbers are unreadable even with a magnifying glass. Worst of all is when I tied to link to their "Support Website" or even search for their name online, I am led to a full page stating "Your site service has expired, Please renewal(sp) your website as soon as possible". I did not return this because I was sure I could figure it out but I haven't. Will now try to search other brands of mini circular saws and see if that helps. ... show more

For the price and value, it just works. I bought it to make just one cut I needed to make really straight. And this thing fit the bill. Paid for itself with that single cut. Same or even lower price if you consider: If I took the wood to Home Depot, find a guy (good luck with that), hoping he is in a good mood, answering the "Expert" his question: just need one cut???, and take the ticket to the cashier, pay for it and go back home just to realize the guy went on the other side of the line of the cut....lol.. with this tool I skipped all that, magic! ... show more

I got this to help with a small woodworking project. Nothing is labeled in the instructions so it took a bit to figure out what button they said to push to install the blade. It is quite powerful and really loud. It has a laser guide but it didn’t seem to line up correctly so I had to eyeball it. The cord is about six feet so I couldn’t go far from the wall and I had to bend the prongs to keep it plugged into the wall. The tilt feature was useful but because it only tilted one direction I had to be creative to get the miter cuts correct. ... show more
