I bought this for a door I was replacing. My house was built in the 70s and the doors were an inch shorter than today's standard. I cut the bottom off by an inch, popped out the center piece from the part I cut, and glued it back in the door bottom. I used painter's tape so it wouldn't splinter. This thing cut perfectly and was so easy with the guide. You'd never know I cut this door. It looks perfect. 10/10 recommend this saw! ... show more

I picked up this mini circular saw for a small home project—had to cut a hole in the wall to retrieve a journal that fell behind a cabinet. Bro, this saw is awesome. Never used one like this before, but it worked perfectly for the job. Clean cuts, easy to handle, and the battery lasted plenty long for what I needed. Everything else people say is true—good power, lightweight, and the laser guide helps a lot. I like the saw in almost every aspect but I haven't been able to use it properly. First time I tried to cut something the saw stopped after 1 minute so I imagined that the battery was low so I charged it for 2 hours and finished the small job I was doing. The second time after 15 days I made a small cut and again the saw stopped sometime later, like 5 minutes .... I finished the job and put the saw away. Today I tried to make a new cut but after 2 minutes stopped again so I decided to charge the battery again. I took my voltmeter to measure the Volts in the battery and notices it was doing a fast charge. I noticed 4 connectors in the battery, 2 for positive and 2 for negative. I measured one pair and after 1 hour it reached 19.3 volts, so I thought it was almost full but decided to measure the second pair and for my surprise it is only 12.8 volts steady. I understand there must be 2 set of batteries inside and of them is faulty so when I try to cut only one battery works at full power. Another surprise is that the charger changes to RED supposedly when the battery is at full charge but it does it when one of the batteries inside reaches 18 volts and not when both batteries are full so you think it is full charged but it is not. The capacity is practically reduced to half. Now I need to look for to how to replace that faulty battery, what a shame as the saw looks very nice. Update: This battery is terrible; it barely holds a charge. It can't even get through cutting a small board before it quits on me. They should sell an A/C adapter with it... ... show more
