  • Easy way to see if your doing some big numbers
The only complaint I have is. The display is pretty light. The display works best when the sun is down. On a side note mine fell into a cup of coffee. I freaked out because I paid over 200 bucks for this meter. Well after taking it apart and wiping it out. It dried out and I put it back together. It surprisingly worked. ... show more

  • Great Tool for your everyday installer/ bass head
Great tool that I've wanted for a long while, a good db meter that registers above the normal 120 db.

  • Meter might not come as advertised. Looks b stock.
Could be a one off… I received the first meter and it looked used and was missing the battery and usb cable that’s advertised in the photo. Sent that back and and got second one, whick also looked used and was missing the battery and usb cable. So I sent that back as well and got a refund.

  • Wrong color. Wrong color.
Was sent a meter with a green readout. Usually wouldn't care, but I specifically wanted red in order to match my truck. Other than that, the product itself works just fine.

  • Nice on the go meter, it’s pretty quirky Nice on the go meter, it’s pretty quirky
It arrived in a padded envelope with the meter and cigarette lighter power cord. I thought there would be a box. It feels like maybe it was a used product or something though it was listed as new and still has the clear plastic sheet over the led. I’ve never had a manufacturer send me a product like this before. There isn’t even a manual. I looked the manual up on their website, and it’s description is pretty vague... more on vague later. There also wasn’t a mini usb cable in the envelope to plug into my PC though I already had one. I’ve been into car audio since the 90’s because I love music, though I’ve never competed. It’s nice to be able to test on the fly. I’ve always been curious how loud my single subwoofer was. It’s pretty simple plug and play. By default it measures in real time so the readings can change. I’ve messed around trying to figure it out because the manual isn’t helpful. I managed to set it so it keeps the highest metered level and then it just blinks(P2 setting?). This is useful. It’s kind of a quirky device to setup every time I power it up. I like the P2 setting, it locks the highest db and makes taking a picture of it easier because real time readings are hard to catch because the three digits blink on and off very fast and I end up missing a digit or two while trying to take a picture, and even when I screenshot a video it still misses one digit at times. I’m trying to see if it needs to be updated since it’s not the green led v2. The website is also very vague with the updates. They don’t label which update is for the different meters they make. I downloaded a few and tried to load them but no go. It didn’t come with the mini usb cable but I have one from my old MP3 player I was able to use. The reason I thought it might need to be updated is I got a high reading today. I was averaging 136-139 from 35-40hz. I got 139.3 @38hz at the kick with my driver door cracked. This was my highest on Saturday morning after trying the passenger side windshield and kick panel. Today I was driving home using sine tracks and @36hz got 141 so I don’t know if it needs to be updated. I unplugged and reset and was getting 136-137 @36hz so I think it was out of whack today. This is a cool tool. It’s quirky, and the instructions don’t help much. It didn’t come in a box so even if it’s from the manufacturer it still feels kind of like I bought it used on eBay or something. ... show more
