This is not at all what I ordered, other than it is black and about 10’. I received an “outdoor” heavy duty extension cord with only one outlet, not 3 which is described. Very disappointed.

It'is not easy to find 16-3, three wire grounded, flat, black, right angle plug, 10 foot or longer, extension cords (also rated 13A, 125V, 1625W). As an extension cord the quality of the plug, sockets, wiring and packaging is excellent. That said, I bought several of these to use for cut lengths of 16-3 to feed and interconnect five under cabinet kitchen lights because I wanted each metal housing grounded back to the source, and for that purpose they also were excellent. The 10' lengths meant I only had to do one soldered/heat-shrink-tube spliced extension. It would be nice if the cable was also available as a 20-25' cord or on the spool, but as it is, it's still excellent as an extension cord or as cable stock. ... show more

I love the quality and am willing to pay for it because it is worth the difference. 15' is long but I needed to get 5' over and 7' up to a shelf with all my modem, router and bridges. Only an amp or two so no worries, but still sometimes you don't want junk and want something that is durable, want to last a long time and use and reuse. Bought this cord to do a blowdrying crayon project outside with my little sister. It's a heavy duty cord and worked like a charm. Like another reviewer said, keep in mind the male plug, which WAS a bit of a pain to get into the kitchen wall (very snug) and we also had to unplug the toaster oven to get this one to fit (It does take up two outlets' worth of room if not plugged into the bottom outlet). This extension cord allowed me to run the cable alongside the wall and through the back of my table. It used less space then a regular power strip bar.
