I have to admit i didn't have very high expectations when buying this LIBREFLY Mini 1080P Camera Charger. for the price I really figured it would be junk & I'd be looking for another one by now. but i was definitely wrong, this camera is amazing with so many features that way more spendy cameras don't have or don't do as well. I have nothing at all bad to say. it does way more than I thought it would, & pic, video, sound, battery are all great i would definitely buy more witch I might do. & I recommend it to anyone looking for a mini camera. I am so amazed by the quality, ease of use, features that I'm almost at a loss of words & will come back after a while & update this post. Great job whoever is the company that makes these. so often these days the quality doesn't match the price or the value is not there witch leaves you regretting many things purchased. but i feel this could cost more yet they sell it cheap so anyone who need one can get a very nice lil cam, & to that I say wow thanks for not being greedy.     • Multifunctional, Aesthetically Appealing, Portable Security Camera
This device doubles as a security camera and a functional charging brick with one USB-A port that actually charges your electronic devices. Device has a slot in the back for a micro SD up to 256 GB. The company recommends using the SanDisk brand, but I bought a different brand used for GoPros and it works perfectly fine. So no need to pay monthly subscription fees, unless you want to since they do offer cloud storage for a monthly fee. The only limitation is the storage of the micro SD you use. Once the micro SD card is full, the camera will then overwrite old video clips to record new video clips. Uses the Home Eye app that you can download onto your phone to remotely view live feed anywhere in the world (if you connect the camera to your home WiFi, you cannot view remotely if you connect the camera via Bluetooth and are not in physical proximity to the camera). You can also select full day recording (in video clips divided into 1-15 minute increments of your choosing), along with motion or human detection divided into separate video clips of 10 seconds. The video/audio clips can seem a bit choppy and cut off because of this feature so you will have to play several clips to see the full activity captured. The Home Eye app will send push notifications “alarming” you when motion is detected. The push notifications are instantaneous as soon as motion or humans are detected. You can view the video clips from the micro SD directly on the Home Eye App without having to remove the micro SD from the device. You can also download video clips directly to your phone. The picture quality is very clear at 1080p as long as there is decent lighting in the room it is placed in. This security camera, unlike other similar devices, actually records audio. The sound is very clear. Audio recording is very useful, because this device does not have night vision. So the camera will continuously record overnight (if you selected full day recording), but the video will be completely black if the room it is in has low to no lighting, although you will be able to hear any audible sounds in the recording. If you are planning to use this to monitor your pets at night, this device might not be for you unless you plan to keep the lights on all night. The field of view is fairly wide at 140 degrees and captures a decent amount of the space as long as the camera is oriented in the vertical position. If the camera is physically oriented horizontally it will narrow the field of view and mostly capture the floor and ceiling. You can fix this by plugging the device into a power strip or power outlet extender in the vertical position. The camera does not have a pan/tilt feature so motion detection stays in a static position and does not follow the person or object in motion. The device has no rechargeable battery, so it needs to be plugged into a power outlet at all times while in use to record video/audio. The camera is pretty much undetectable behind the two-way mirror facade and there is a sticker provided to place on the back to cover up the micro SD card, so no one would have any idea this was a security camera since it looks and functions as a charging brick. If you are concerned about privacy, you can store video clips entirely locally on the micro SD and you could unplug the device and plug it back in when you want to use it without having to reconnect it to WiFi each time. The Home Eye App itself also does not collect your personal data. The security camera/charging brick is lightweight and easily portable. Would highly recommend! ... show more

I placed this in my office. It is very helpful. Great view of the area. The push notifications to my phone, in the event movement is noted, work excellent. I also use a micro memory card so it is constantly recording. If I had a couple suggestions: 1) I wish I could change the font SIZE when i put the name of the camera, as it shows in the top left corner of the screen; 2) when I get a push notification, after it takes me to the camera, I wish I could then turn off the push notifications right there. But, unfortunately, I have to close the app and reopen it to then change the push notification settings. Unfortunately, you can't do it if you are navigated to the app from getting a push notification prompt. But, all-in-all, I really like this security camera and would recommend it - easy to install, works very well, and is inconspicuous. ... show more
