From reading some reviews, those people did not understand that this is a moose and it goes all over. You let it dry and you keep it on for however long you want, I sleep in mine. Then you get in the shower and just rinse. No washing with soap. Now you have a tan that will continue to get slightly darker in the next few hours. If you get in a pool or take baths, it will wash some of the tan away. Soaking in water…what did you think would happen? If I feel the need for a nice bubble bath, I take my bath and then depending on what my tan looks like, I will go ahead and put more on. Now for the review of the product, I love it. I’ve used just about everything else. I turn orange if the product doesn’t have green in it and this one does. It went on very natural looking. Some of the ones I’ve tried, it looks like I rolled around in dirt. But this one was nice. I stood in front of a fan to help dry it faster. When I washed it off, it was a nice golden tan. Real dark tans, don’t look good on me. I want that tan I would get at the beach, the glow, and this gives it to me. Not saying it’s not dark but it’s not the darkest. Hope that makes sense. Only issue with these products is that they are drying. Moisturizer is key to keeping this tan the longest.

I have tried SO many tanners over the years to help even out my skin. My skin turns dark golden olive when tanned, however since developing vitiligo a few years ago, the contrast between the spots and my normal skin color are startling especially in the summer. It made me self conscious. I’ve tried tons of tanners and all were more orange than olive and a massive hassle to apply without streaks. I found this tanner by chance, saw a review saying it worked for vitiligo and took the leap. I have NEVER been so excited about a tanner before! This stuff is PERFECT! The perfect match to my skin! It evens out my spots and makes me feel and look whole again! Confidence restored! Not only that, the application is a dream, it’s also impossible for it to come out streaky when using a mitt. It dried quickly so no smudging or standing in front of a fan for 30 minutes and it’s vegan and cruelty free! You seriously will NEVER find a better self tanner! Thank you MineTan for restoring my confidence! I’m a customer for life! Please never change your formula!

This is a great sunless tanner. Even with a velvet mitt I suggest using rubber gloves underneath to keep from staining your palms. I am disappointed in the last shipment I received as the pump and lid came disconnected and I was unable to attach the pump back on in order to make the product foam. If I didn’t have another bottle to swap the pump out, I would not have been able to use this product.

I’m Asian, so my skin naturally tans brown. Before, when I would reach for my usual tanning lotion to cover up my sock tan, it would leave orange streaks and my feet would be orange in comparison to my legs. The Olive tanner was the perfect answer to this dilemma as the tanner matched my skin TONE. Now my sock tan is nonexistent, blending perfectly with my natural tan. The slight olive tone made a huge difference.

I got this because of all the great reviews claiming it won’t leave you orange. I’ve tried olive and violet so far and let me say it left me SO orange. At first application before rinse it’s brown with a slight green tint so I thought it would definitely leave me a natural brown, I’m so sad that it didn’t! I usually leave it on for a shorter time then recommend probably an hour or two and still left with an extremely orange tan. I’m nervous to try ash and find my color because this has been the worst tanner for me I’m only considering trying ash since I know tanner is like makeup and you have to find your shade but overall, I wish I had the same experience as everyone else I hope to someday find a brown tanner with out any hint of orange:(

I understand that I am as pale as they come. I have neutral undertones and Olive toned tanner always looks the best…BUT DAMN, not only did this tanner look like poop, but it smelled like stomach acid when you throw up. As I applied it, I wasn’t too impressed with the bronzer, it was a little hard to tell where the product was. I then waited a whole three hours before showing. The next day I was barely tanned, aside from my hands that looked orange. I re-tanned with Bondi Sand’s Technicolor. I will be sending this back and buying another of theirs.
