So as not to cause interference with the pointer I always keep my detector at an arms length away when I'm searching the dirt/plug. I used wired headphones for a little while and the cord was starting to drive me bonkers. Taking the headphones on and off, snagging the wire on everything imaginable, just a hassle in all aspects. There wireless headphones are a dream. Super clear sound, comfortable, long battery life, and no noticable latency. They are a bit expensive but you do get a quality headphone so I don't mind having spent the money. I don't know what random metal detectors these headphones are compatible with, but I can vouch that they work absolutely amazing with my Minelab Vanquish 540. Happy hunting everyone! ... show more

They are good phones the main issue I had with them was the on/off button broke on both sets just after a few uses,Minelab did replace them but the button needs to be sturdier.

This work really well with My equinox 600 metal detector. They pair quickly have good sound but I had to give it four star rating because the earpieces seem a little small and I have small ears and they were irritating but I would still recommend them but I think they’re a bit overpriced. The Minelab Label was scratched when I got them. The sound was very scratchy after the plug for the charging port came out.

For metal detecting. The exact same ones I still have and they work, it's the material is peeling off the ear muffs, so I got another pair.
