I have young children. They are rough on everything. They managed to break one of our lidded laundry baskets. I ordered one of these to replace it. LOVE IT. Very light, sturdy, and the small "woven" openings on the side prevent clothes from squeezing out and getting snagged when pulling them back through. Then, I found my son using it as a step stool. Three year olds. 😮💨 But the laundry basket? Unfazed. No broken or cracked bits. Not warped or disfigured at all. I was extremely pleased with that outcome. My daughter then tried opening the lid to put clothes in it. As she's yelling to me that the lid is stuck, I hear a loud snap sound. Great, she broke the lid, right? Wrong! Turns out she was trying to open it from the hinged side. She popped it off but it didn't break the little plastic pieces that snap into place. This has happened a few times now and the lid still snaps right back into place, no broken pieces. I've purchased 3 more after witnessing the abuse these things can take. All 4 laundry baskets and their lids are still trucking along. 🥳 ... show more
