Update: the company was very good about getting me the missing lid within a week even though Amazon was the one who screwed up. I am pleased. The hamper should last years. It seems sturdy however it came missing the lid. As it is for a place of business I can not used without the lid that I paid for. I have emailed the manufacturer and no response yet. This has been the solution to the sore spot between me and my teenager about the pile of dirty clothes on the bathroom floor which somehow can never make it to the hamper in her bedroom. But chose your battles right? So I searched for a tall thin hamper that wouldn’t take up too much real estate in her bathroom (which is the size of a typical second bathroom) and could withstand the teenaged bathroom lifestyle.
