This thing works outstanding. As long as you don’t limp wrist it when you pull the trigger it will drive the staples to the exact depth every single time regardless of how soft or hard the wood is or how much charge is left on the battery. I finally have a use for the tiny M18 2.0AH battery I had, that battery’s limited capacity was useless with all my other M18 tools, this fencing stapler uses next to no battery capacity whatsoever and a single 2.0 or 3.0 battery will keep you fencing all day. I’m pretty sure the green power light uses up more of the battery than the tool does. No need for an expensive, heavy, large capacity battery It staples immediately, no ramp up or wind down time between trigger pulls, no gas cartridges needed, no tools needed to use the depth adjustment. The depth adjust works excellent for sinking in the end post wires tight or leaving room for the wire to pull freely on your center posts. I put up 2 miles of fence and never once had a jamming problem, but did fully try out the jam release function just to see how it works should I have needed it, very easy to use and again no additional tools required. The staple head design doesn’t work well if you need to use a physical hammer on them, they smash out rather than drive in because of their shape, but after 2-3 staples from the gun you get the depth adjustment figured out and don’t need to do any touch ups with a physical hammer. My only complaint, and I’ve found this to be the same on all staple and nail guns, they don’t let you use up the entire strip of staples, it leaves the last 4 or so from the strip and it always seems like I run out of staples with just needing those last couple still in the gun. How they could design something so perfectly yet completely fail at figuring out how to use the entire strip is mind boggling. ... show more

Was delivered in a timely manner in good condition. Works like it's supposed to. Drives staples deep into hardwood posts for fixing and building new fence. Price is kinda high. Looks like they could be sold for a little less. Would recommend if you can afford one.
