  • Great product!
works nicely! It makes short work of trimming your woody bushes or berry canes. I would recommend

  • Easy cutting
Bought this for my wife's birthday (her choice) they work great. She does a lot of puttering in the garden and thought these would be nice to have. Well she loves them, they cut nicely and are easy to use and she doesn't have to squeeze them like her other pruners. These have 2 power settings for different thickness of work. These are a quality Milwaukee tool. ... show more

  • Cuts Thick Branches like a Hot Knife through Butter
This is a solid little Milwaukee tool and works GREAT! I have very good hand strength and have no trouble using manual shears to cut most medium to largish branches, but this really speeds up pruning work. I used it to cut a pile of tree trimmings to fit into my green waste container. The pile was big enough that I had to cut the branches into very small pieces to get it all to fit - I'm talking a few hundred cuts to reduce it all to 4 to 12 inches long sticks. Not having a mulcher/chipper available (which obviously would have been the best tool for the job), I started into the pile using my small Milwaukee M18v Hatchet chain saw, thinking it would be more efficient to cut through hand-held bundles or twigs and branches. Some of the smaller branches were causing more chain bucking than I was comfortable with, so I switched to using these shears to cut through one to five or six at a time depending on thickness. I used a freshly-charged 6Ah battery, and after probably 45 minutes of constant cutting it was still indicating a full charge. I don't think I would use these for delicate pruning as they don't provide nearly the sensitive feel of sharp Fiskars or Corona bypass shears, but great for cleanup jobs. With the positive comes the caution, which in this case is you really need to be deliberate with your handling and fully alert to avoid amputating a digit . Because they are SHARP - as they should be (Duh!, I know). The only negative for me, and it's very minor, is near the end of the work it was getting dusk (I wanted to get the bin to the curb for morning pickup), and the little white LED on the nose, that faces upward for some reason, became a little blinding. Having it shine down toward the working part of the blade would be an improvement. Or maybe only work in the light? ... show more

  • If you’re looking you need this! And it works Great
OK I have had this for several month now and it is a game changer. Work better than expected and I gets a lot of cuts out of a single 2.0 battery, more than I can take. While it has a bit of weight to it, the cutting power and ease makes it a much have!

  • Good pick for older folks
As I have come to expect, Milwaukee makes good tools for the home owner. I've seen reviews by contractors that prefer other brands for construction grade tools, but I'm not in that class of users. I had a choice to make between the M12 and M18 versions of this tool. As I would expect, the heavier duty tool had much more impressive specs, but I'm in my eighties now and my specs are on the wane. This tool is very well built and feels like it will remain serviceable for a long time. The weight of the tool is very manageable, and the ability to set the tool at either fully open or 1/2 open at the start of the cut makes for efficient use of time and effort. Battery capacity was good, even in the smaller M12 size as I was ready for rest before the tool was. Balance of the tool and maneuverability is good as handle placement makes the battery a good counterbalance for the engine and blades. I recommend this tool. ... show more

  • Milwakee power shears
This tool feels very well-made and has an abundance of power. Be very careful operating it if fingers or anything you don't want to cut is present. I've only used it for two days, but the battery life is excellent. It's not overly loud and cuts like fury. Knowing what I know if I didn't have one, I'd buy one. After a month of REALLY using this tool I can say it will transform an ordinary yard husband into "Edward ScissorHands". I can't speak to longevity yet but in the first month of heavy use, it's terrific! ... show more

  • Impressive
Very powerful and easy to use. So nice not having to find the space to open and close the handles on loppers. They simply work and work well. And are a trusted Milwaukee product. Just don't get your fingers in the jaws...

  • Well made...
Quality made item....cuts well above it's weight...used it again for several hours yesterday trimming fruit trees... The two position jaws saves time and extends battery life.
