    • I don't mess with knowoffs...
I have a nice investment with Milwaukee 18V products. Drills, saws, flashlights, driver tools, leaf blowers, etc. These batteries are a definite improvement over the 2AH (CP 2.0) batteries. Tools like the saw, driver tools and blowers can eat through a charge in no time. For every day minor use of the drill? The 2.0 is fine. This is a noticeable improvement. I may jump to the 5.0 next time.... All in all, these aren't cheap and the circuitry will only give a definitive set of charges. But I have tried knockoffs and they just aren't worth the money as the charges are not on par with a genuine Milwaukee battery. Hence my ratings are what they are. ... show more

Came in genuine Milwaukee packaging. Battery cells and circuit board were also genuine Milwaukee. 3.0 HO batteries are the best for daily use on a drill or impact simply due to weight and size. Just have spares to swap in. the high torque 1/2 also doesn’t seem to mind them but the bigger batteries are better suited to the high torque. A 3.0 HO last easily all day in an auto shop. ... show more

This battery is wider than the usual 18 volt Milwaukee product. The reviews that mention it is incompatible with a belt hook on the side of the drill and impact driver are correct. The battery is not as tall as a “regular” Milwaukee 3 or 5 amp battery but it is wider. What you get is a 5 amp battery that is as tall as the “regular” 3 amp battery but wider!
