This die grinder is one of the best die grinders I've ever used, power is great and the variable speed function is the greatest feature so you can have complete control of the power this tool has. I use it mostly with wire wheels and carbide burrs also felt buffing wheels. The speed dial and paddle switch are ideally located and very easy to use, also the size of the handle is not too large making extended use comfortable. Thought this was first gen for the price. It wasn't it was 2nd grn, Score!! The 2nd grn I'd nice, has shaft lock button so only one wrench is needed to change tools. If you're doing something where you need to spin wire brushes or burrs this tool works great. Has plenty of power and a nice place to hold on to to control it. It is surprisingly efficient, it doesn't go through batterys as fast as I expected.

Got this to do some finish grinding and weld cleanup on a jeep frame I'm restoring. This is a beast! Plenty of power to do the job and the design allows for easy access into tight areas vs a 90 degree grinder. using a 5.0 battery its not too unwieldy and battery life is pretty good!

This thing is a 20,000 rpm variable speed beast.. It has a paddle switch which is a great safety feature if dropped paired with the brake that stops the arbor in 2 sec. It has 5 speeds ranging from 5000 to 20,000 rpm. There is a button that locks the arbor so you only need one wrench to loosen the collet. It takes 1/4" accessories... meh. it spins well and I suspect it will last, but it's just unwieldy to operate. big battery at the end makes it heavy too. hmmm... like I said, it works well and when I need a stationary death wheel, with some carefully placed padding, I can probably put it in my vice. on the plus side, it works with my existing Milwaukee batteries. :-/ ... show more
